My first arrival in Venlo and I'm delighted with the part of the city called Klein Itälie... Of all the coffee bars, I decided on Café de Locomotief... The ambiance inside the Café is fantastic... Pleasant staff , the service is perfect...

Nice pub and open late in the town that seems to go to bed early.

It went dark outside and the clock was indicating 10pm so I was ready to hit a bar to avoid being stolen (I am small, cute and cuddly, so chances are pretty high that some attractive girls want to nick me to cuddle the living shiet out of me, understandable). Went into this location to grab a couple quick pints. They offer so many different beers, tap or from the bottle and various different cocktails and literally anything you could gulp down, you will find it here.
The beers are cold, just as you would want during a hot summer. The bar is clean, not sticky as you may see in others. The staff was extremely friendly and ready for a quick chit chat. One of them had birthday, just like me, gifted me a free pint, always appreciated.
Open till late at night too, which is nice.

The most vibrant place in town - which isn’t saying much. But if you want somewhere to hang out on the weekend, this is Venlo’s place to be.
