Restaurant 't Pakhuus

We had a lovely lunch. We sat inside and we’re a party of seven (three generations). The food was exceptional. We had lobster bisque, oysters, fresh fish, lobster and claims. The service was warm and attentive. Best seafood on Texel.

Truly exceptional experience! Our server, Sandro, was such a joy and the service makes us eager to return. And the entire staff was so knowledgeable and attentive. We had the surprise 5-course dinner and I actually enjoyed every dish compared to similar experiences at other high-end restaurants. Will absolutely return again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Texel.

Outstanding service and food. The gin tonic is amazing and worth every penny. It’s a little art work for your eyes. The whole stuff is extraordinary kind and are very attentive. We are visiting this place every year and it’s always a pleasure. Keep up the great work!

Overall a very good experience. Price is also very reasonable for a multi course meal prepared with thought! We had to rush out to catch the ferry but would’ve loved to stay longer for the full experience

Enjoyed a lovely meal at 't Pakhuus. Not our first choice as it's quite pricey but since all other restaurants in Oudeschilde stop serving food early (before 8pm) this was our only option. Service was faultless and the vegetarian option was adapted to substitute a main ingredient. The food was delicious and it was good to see a couple of local beers from Texel on the menu too. Thank you for rescuing our evening so wonderfully!

A fantastic fish restaurant! Prices are a bit steep, but if your mind is set to a nice experience you'll be sure to find just that! Pictured is their version of surf and turf, half a lobster inside a beef burger 🍔 🦞

Wonderful atmosphere, excellent food, brilliant tastes and the most friendly staff. One of my favourite restaurants.

We had a simple lunch here though the menu had many delicious options. Service was impeccable as was the food. Highly recommended and good value.

Welcoming and accommodating waiters and waitresses. We enjoyed a few drinks and oysters while being able to enjoy views overlooking the harbour.

Excellent service and great food. Very good wines too. Not cheap :-)
Edit: visit #2 was really great again. The duck liver was perfect, the wines delicious and the fruit de mer a complete treat. One tiny remark: fruit de mer is just too much, it's absolutely fabulous, but wow, it's a lot of food. I lovingly call it mass extinction event.

Disappointing unfortunately. Because of table turning, the later shift can't order a la carte and you have to take the "surprise menu". I can only say; overrated and overpriced. The total bill was far from excellent as was most of the food. I'll give it a miss next time if I have to be surprised again.
Edit: vist #4 diner again, but no surprise menu. My mass extinction event was great again, and luckily a bit overwhelming in its quantity. Amazing wines. Great service . Not cheap.
Visit #5. Lunch, duck liver as a starter and cod and scallops as main with a great gewurtstraminer blend white wine .
Back to 5 stars. Just don't surprise me again :-)

Fine dining with excellent food and wines. Service is also very good, with details explained about the food and wine. Fabulous location, very pleasant ambience overall- a great place for a special night out.

Great place with a great view and interior! The food was amazing , the personnel very friendly - it was my Birthday and there was a little surprise from them, they also gave me a gift when we were leaving that vas very nice! This povely place made my day and I’ll definitely come back if I’m visiting Texel again.

Great food with good value for money (yet not cheap) right in the harbour. Kind of unexpected in a "touristy" location :-)

This place has Michelin Stars not by any means of luck. A super nice menu with professional waiters. A very nice spot. All seafood items are super fresh and tasty. An outstanding ‘small portion’ cheesecake 🎉

Due to the immediate lockdown, we weren't able to visit this place, but instead ordered takeaway to eat in our B&B. The food was great, the service wonderful. Kind people working there, offered to prepare anything we'd like but was not on the menu. Great lobster, shrimp salad and a nice rare T-bone for my daughter. The fish-n-chips was amazing. Still crispy after packaging and eating for at least half an hour. We will come back once they open up again. And one more thing, do not rely on Russians in these reviews. They always complain.

Excellent service from Samira! Thank you! We had the 5 “surprise plates” menu and we were happily satisfied, started eating at 13 finished at 16:30! Amazing food, well done to the chef! Highly recommend this restaurant to everybody visiting Texel!

The quality of the meal and the presentation was wonderful, even given the pandemic situation and having to takeaway, I would rank it as one of the best meals I have eaten yet. To add to this, the staff was very helpful in suggesting sides to accompany the meal. I would recommend it to anyone visiting Den Burg who is hungry for seafood. (And have the Fruits de Mer, it will not disappoint!)

I can't say enough great things about this restaurant. I'm so glad my wife and I had stopped in for lunch. The food, service and atmosphere were all excellent. Everything was perfect and we will be back very soon.
P.S. Coolest after-meal hand towels EVER! 😁

I went there with my husband for my bday dinner. Each course was delicious and the personnel very professional and cozy. The great man was Ray the sommelier, who treated and advised us very well. Cream on the top was the gift they reserve me for my bday, a bottle of my favorite italian wine!
