10/10. Really enjoyed the food, the atmosphere, and the service. We picked the 5 course menu with wine pairing. Every dish + wine combo was excellent. Surprising combinations of flavours, meat cooked to perfection, fresh local products. Highly recommend going to Eilandkeuken!

A special fine dining experience. The combination of flavours and textures were all very delicate, a much welcome change in a country where a lot of restaurants just throw as many spices as possible in the food. The recipes were perfect to showcase the quality of the local ingredients. I would suggest to include the tartare in your menu because it is excellent.

Nice experience. Good music. Our first fine dining experience. Also, very helpfull in making the menu vegetarian friendly for me.

This Bed&Breakfast is exellent. Not only the rooms are very nice but also the restaurant. Here i had a tasteful breakfast wich i liked very much. Bread and croissants 100% fresh and stil warm. This chef knows how it works.

A perfect evening from A-Z. We booked in very short notice, and although we are not the easiest eaters to accommodate (one vegetarian, one no fish eater) our wishes were considered to perfection. The food was absolutely excellent, the service friendly and professional and the atmosphere was calm and relaxing. All in all, one of the best nights out in a long time.

From the reservation to the meal to getting in the cab, it was the perfect experience. The menu was beautifully crafted, and our special request for the birthday boy was met and completely exceeded expectations. There was a bit of a wait between the first 3 courses, but that was due to us arriving at a particularly busy time. The wine selection was wonderful, and as wide a range as the dishes in the menu. We thought each dish was absolutely amazing, until each next course came and it was even better than the last. The 2 main courses, a lamb and a fish were so enticing, we couldn't even wait for the picture before we tucked in, and didn't remember until the plates were scraped clean! The service staff were friendly, accommodating, professional and polite. Definitely a favourite for my first time in Texel. We were the last to leave and were given a bottle for the birthday boy and it was just the perfect end to a perfect meal.

Very flavorful food, good service that accommodated our preferences, comfortable atmosphere. We got the 6-course menu and it was just enough (not too much, not too little) and every dish was very tasty in its own way.

This is one of those hidden-gem restaurants that you accidentally stumble into, and then keep going back to again and again. Our first time visiting was in their old location, which was truly hidden away in the middle of nowhere, near a home we rented on Texel. Their dry-aged cote de boeuf was an eye opener - this is what a good peace of beef should taste like! It's still on the menu in their new location. I highly recommend it. It's not just the great food (seasonal, always changing. always good) that will get you to go back. The friendly staff and great ambiance make it a wonderful evening out. It's been too long Eilandkeuken, hope to see you again soon!

Great dinner. We went as a couple to this restaurant and enjoyed some fantastic food they also make awesome bread. Excellent and professional service. I will definitely comeback.

We have been living in Amsterdam for 3 years now. Generally we find the Netherlands restaurant food to be made with good and fresh ingredients but the cooking is lacking in seasoning and imagination.

Eiland keuken is easily the best and most interesting meal we have had here.

We ate
Potato chips with oyster mayo.
Razorclams in parsnip foam and sichuan pepper powder.
Lobster bisque, fennel, shrimps and clams.
The freshest mackerel with horseradish and peas.
A bbq pork belly, smoked fennel.
An amazing dry aged steak with chopped beans and mash.
Jerusalem artichoke creme brulee.

You can order 3,4,5 or 6 set course menus priced from €35 - €65

The service is professional and friendly.
The interesting thing is that the kitchen is fast. Usually at fine dining places the service is painfully slow but this place the amuse, starter and second plate were all served within 5 minutes of them clearing the previous course.
There was only a 10 minute lull between the second course and the main.
There was only one waitress for the 30-40 seater restaurant. The restaurant was only half full because of covid restrictions but she was able to cover the tables with ease.
My wife was asking would we drive back here just for this meal. It's a 90 minute drive and a 30 minute car ferry ride from Amsterdam.... I am very tempted to say yes ;)
Excellent place.

A warm welcome by the host. We were surprised by the three excellent dishes that the chef made for us. Two appertiser and a main course. Me and my wife loved every dish and the way the host presented himself and the restaurant.
Absolute must go when visiting Texel

Taste Texel in a different way. Sit down, enjoy and relax.
