Theetuin de Stokroos / Boerenrustcamping de Kermisrose

We rode around the island on our bikes and visited this very cozy (‘gezellig’) location to eat & drink a little. We had some local beers, some cake and pie and an ‘uitsmijter’ (a thick slice of bread with fried eggs and cheese on top and without the customary ham). You enter the garden through a hedge gate and you find yourself in a universe of its own: some tables, some sofa, some regular garden chairs. A few cozy garden lounge areas. It’s not huge, but spacious enough to give you some privacy. Attached to the tea garden, there’s also a campground with large sites. Some have yurt’s on them, others have an RV or even a double decker bus, and some people bring their own vans. We had a great time there and could continue to explore the island fully restored :)

Our favourite campsite ever. Beautifully located in nature. Child friendly. Delicious very reasonably priced food and very friendly people.

Came here cause I was to tired from cycling, no phonecall no reservation, just rolled in on my bike, fortunately there were still places available. This place is quite unique in many regards, definitely „come and see” type of a situation. If farm sounds is what helps you fall a sleep then this place is definitely for you.

Amenities available on site were all I needed, definitely bikepacker friendly.

We have a lovely experience staying in the wagon they have to offer. A lovely rural escape. With farm life around, and local produce to choose from and pet friendly. It's a great location to escape from the cities or for the family to enjoy. Would definitely visit again.

What a lovely garden!💚 I really enjoyed the homemade pies...tried them all, the chocolate cheese cake, strawberry pie, apple pie and rubarb pie, all taste delicious! Btw. The menucard is paperless..you just need to scan the bar code on your table. Big compliments to the owners for using this kind of technology 👍

This is a dream campsite run by a lovely welcoming family. Bunnies, pony rides, sunsets over the beautiful sunflower border, pigs softly snoring in their hut, two playgrounds, delicious food and cake (I ate the pancakes two days in a row), a hedgehog snuffling around our tent, a vegetable garden (take what you need), fresh eggs from the chickens, a corn maze, and a beautiful garden. We only stayed for two days, but we wished it had been two weeks. Perfect for young children.

We loved the campsite, the family that runs it is so friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed our stay in the yurt. The kids played and played, they also loved the chickens, rabbits and the pony's.

Lovely place. Excellent service, very child friendly. Pony riding for youngsters, and a great camping With fantastic yurts/gers.

Love it here. Evertime we are here, we visit this lovely Café.

Slow time met nice cake

We kozen deze camping om te verblijven na een dagje zeilen, op weekend met een groep vrienden. Het is een unieke locatie met verschillende verblijfsmogelijkheden. Wij sliepen in een mongoolse yurt. Er staat een verwarmer maar je kan ook hout opstoken om het warm te krijgen. Verder alle benodigdheden aanwezig, bovendien zelfs koffie & thee. Er is een aparte private badkamerruimte die je kan gebruiken. Ontvangst is super hartelijk en gastvrij. Zou het iedereen aanraden!

Per toeval fietste ik langs deze theetuin. Ik was zo aangenaam verrast! Wat een ontzettend leuke plek, lieve bediening en uitgebreide kaart. Ze hadden ook genoeg lactosevrije/vegan opties. Ik was helemaal blij en ga zeker nog een keer!

Wij hebben eerder al eens koffie gedronken op deze heerlijke locatie en gisteren (7-7) waren we er vanwege een bruiloft. Fantastisch weer op deze geweldige locatie met grote complimenten voor de bediening.
Wij hebben hier niet overnacht dus ik kan ik geen mening over geven over de slaapplaatsen.
Let ook op de hondjes Sjors en Suus die daar rondlopen en geef deze aub GEEN eten!! Zij hebben hun eigen hondenvoer.

Sehr schön gelegenes familiär geführtes Gartencafe. Sehr freundliche Eigentümer, und auch die Mitarbeiter sind stets freundlich. Wir kommen seit Jahren immer wieder gerne zum Essen, ob für etwas süßes, oder herzhaftes, alles selbst gemacht, und super lecker. Da findet wirklich jeder was. Preis Leistung passt. Auf jeden Fall ein Besuch wert.

Wat een fantastische plek! Ik kom al ruim 20 jaar op Schouwen-Duivenland maar tot mijn spijt dit plekje nooit ontdekt. Samen met vrouw en kind (3jr) een fijne tijd gehad in de theetuin. Rustige zeer ruime plaatsen en lekker eten en bijzonder laag geprijst. Ons zoontje vond het ponyrijden heel fijn. Evenals zijn middagslaapje in de hangmat. We komen zeker terug om ook de andere aantrekkelijke hoekjes in de theetuin te beleven.

Nous nous sommes arrêté que pour le goûter mais quel endroit magnifique et calme . Nous regrettons de ne pas y être resté pour dormir. La prochaine fois sans excuse.

Leuke locatie en lekker eten. Vriendelijke bediening

Wij komen hier regelmatig. De eigenaren en personeel zijn altijd heel vriendelijk, zelfs als je als enige gasten zit te eten. Als het wat drukker is even geduld hebben maar daarvoor ben je immers op vakantie/uitje. De maaltijden zijn niet al te groot waardoor je ook ruimte hebt voor een voor- en nagerecht. En fijne prijzen. Prachtige tuin met leuke hoekjes en plekjes om te zitten.

Rustige, ruim opgezette, in het groen gelegen camping. De plaatsen hebben privé sanitair, maar probeer ook zeker een keer de heerlijke warm water buitendouche!
Voor lekker eten hoef je de deur niet uit; alles kan desgewenst bij je plaats bezorgd worden. Van een uitgebreid ontbijt, een koffietje met heerlijke taart tot een diner van de uitgebreide menu kaart. Uiteraard kan je ook een plekje zoeken in de gezellige theetuin.
Als kers is er ook nog de mogelijkheid om een jacuzzi te huren!
