Mooi stukje natuur midden in Drenthe. Vanaf de zandspeelplaats kun je een goed uitgezette route lopen of een zogezegde avontuur aan gaan door de Sprokkelspoor te lopen. Het Sprokkelspoor is middels een wit gespoten mier op keien weergegeven. Je moet goed opletten om geen kei te missen. De route is in totaal iets meer dan 6 km. De route kun je uiteraard halverwege stoppen of halverwege oppakken. De route kruist geregeld het fietspad naar de parkeerplaats of de rode route naar de zandspeelplaats.
