Atlas Village Brielle

The room was spacious and clean. A very old historical building. The owner was quite friendly, and promised that he would have the air con installed by 2024...we kept the shutters open, and cooled the room. Inspite of the shutters being open, it was quiet and we had a good night sleep.

Recently stayed here for 2 x nights as was working away in the port.

The 3 star rating is a funny one. If working purely off rooms and facilities, it is probably correct. But, I have given 5 stars for other reasons.

The breakfast is a mix of basic full-English, continental food and cereals. You can quite easily get a good meal out of it, although far from gourmet!

The room itself was again, basic. Small bedroom, no particular view, and small bathroom. Room was clean, bed was comfy. No aircon, but the room came with a desk fan, which was put to full use.

The standout feature is both it's location, and the restaurant//bar downstairs. The location is right where it needed to be for me. Close to local amenities, and with good parking. Carpark was tight, as was in a LWB Volkswagen transporter van... for the vast majority of people, it will be fine.

The restaurant/bar is brilliant fun. The Barmaids are very social, and are there to have a good chat and a laugh with! Fluent in English, which was a huge positive, as I don't speak a single word of Dutch! They are always happy to recommend some food of the menu , which is comprehensive, very tasty and well priced! Beer is well priced, and seemingly flows without having to ask for another... which can be a headache, if you get what I mean :-)

I know there are some gripes in this review, but I am fully aware that I am paying 3 star prices, so don't expect 5 star accommodation.

Overall, would I happily stay again. Do not hesitate to book.

They might not have been the best beds in the world but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Brielle and the Atlas Village. Great location right in the town centre. A quaint 500 year old building, thoughtfully renovated. Amenities were clean and modern. Breakfast was fine.

The best!!!

Mooi gelegen, prima prijs/kwaliteit en vriendelijk personeel. Zowel kamers als ontbijt zijn heel eenvoudig, maar daar is de prijs ook naar. Ik vind het zelf geen probleem als ik voor werk onderweg ben maar als je stiekem wat luxe verwacht zal het waarschijnlijk een teleurstelling zijn. En als je er met hetzelfde idee komt als ik zit je er helemaal prima dus het is goed dat vooraf even goed af te wegen. Ik kom er graag.

Nettes Hotel mit Bar und Restaurant.
Parkplätze hinter dem Haus. Hotel ist mitten in der historischen Altstadt in Brielle. Der Ort und Hafen sind wunderschön. Viele Cafés und Bars in der Altstadt.

Diverse overnachtingen bij Atlas. Schone kamer + bed + douche + toilet. Goed ontbijt. Vriendelijke service. Restaurant en bar is gezamenlijk, het eten is goed. Parkeren is achter het hotel.

Ongelooflijk, een weekje eerder schreef ik, helaas, niet zo'n goede review over de kamer in dit hotel maar dat heeft men meer dan 1000dubbeldik goed gemaakt, terwijl dat eigenlijk helemaal niet mijn bedoeling was. Echt, mijn vriendin en ikzelf hadden nu een mooie kamer precies zoals op de fotos te zien is, met een luxe badkamer met alles erop en eraan, echt TOP!!
En zoals ik al eerder verkondigde, dat personeel daar, zijn echt allemaal ontzettend aardig, ze doen er alles aan om je van alle gemakken te voorzien, nemen alle tijd, mijn vriendin en ikzelf gaan hier zeker terug komen, ons weekendje weg kan niet meer kapot.
