Hotel Arcen

A very nice idyllic 3star family hotel in the small center of Arcen.
What a joy to have been here and to have met the very nice, kind and helpfull staff/owners.
The rooms are located at the first floor. (No elevator). It is clean and tidy and big enough. There is a thea/coffee facility, small safe and a good working 32" LCD screen with several foreign stations.
The bathroom is a bit outdated but clean and functional. The renovation was planned in 1th Q of 2020 but due to corona postponed.

Breakfast buffet is served at the restaurant "De Oude Hoeve" at the ground floor.
This breakfast is excellent. And better than some 4 star rated hotels we have been to.
Hotel Arcen has it's own unique bread recipe and is fresh backed every day by the local bakery.
Salmon, brie, cheese, ham, salami, scrambled eggs, bacon, peanutbutter and so on. To much to mention.
All kinds of coffee, thea, smoothies and fresh orange juice.
And of course fresh yogurts, cerials, fruit, crackers ect.
This hotel understands the meaning of Quality.

Other facilities are good free Wifi, bicycles, and a parking place at the back of the hotel.

I'm back in Arcen and we stayéd in Bath Hotel Arcen due to the pandemic all was closed except their snack bar where you can buy something to eat,
The following morning our breakfast was ready and you can just pick it up and bring to your hotel room. A big and wonderful surprised cos, everything was there , oh lala,...,milk, butter, bread, crossant, eggs, jus"dOrange, jam, apples that was complite breakfast. That was amazing reallly and I said to my self they spoiled us by giving us a good breakfast ( that was inclusive payment for the hotel rooms ) So, guys, I strongly recommend you this hotel. They have really good service and the hotel is very good. Awasome Hotelrooms with awesome good beds. Yes my sweatheart was very lucky... Oh, excuse me. I mean from the bed he could look to the Formula1 autorace!!! -:0)

Hotel Arcen is a very nice small family hotel in the centre of Arcen. It has a very good restaurant and cosy bar with a beautiful videowall and a good beer chart.
Great owners and staff. Very helpfull and friendly.  Thanks for having us.

The room we had was excellent. Better then several 4 stars hotels we have visited. It was very clean, modern, and had all the comfort you wish for. Including coffee/tea set and a big LCD screen.
The beds are clean and comfortable.
The bathroom is a bit outdated and is awaiting renovation but due to corona this is postponed.
But it is clean and has all you need.

Breakfast is excellent. The bread is fresh backed every day by the local backery with the recepy of the owner/chef. Delicious.
But the buffet has many other kinds of bread. It's very good and has every thing you wish for. From salmon to smoothies. Really good.

The owner is also the owner/Chef of the restaurant "De Oude Hoeve".
All food is made with fresh ingredients.
And you can taste that! Awesome.
As a selfmade spareribs expert I can say these ribs are on my top 3 ever.
Marinaded for 48 hours. The tastefull meat falls from the bone. Great.

Great food and even greater hospitality. Definitely going back here in the future!

Nice people....

Het is een heel knus hotel. Een echt familie bedrijf. Vriendelijke service in het restaurant en vriendelijk personeel aan de receptie. Het is gunstig gelegen in het oude centrum van Arcen. We hebben genoten van goede bedden en een goed, smakelijk en uitgebreid ontbijt. Wij hebben hier hele leuke dagen gehad en zullen zeker nog een keer terug komen.

Auf jeden Fall lohnt es sich mal mit dem Rad dort hinzufahren. Wir hatten Glück das das Wetter mitgespielt hat. Der Marktplatz war sehr gut gefüllt. Der Kuchen war sehr lecker und das Personal war sehr freundlich.........

Alleen even gebruik gemaakt van het restaurant van Hotel Arcen de Oude Hoeve.
Goed menu, ruime keuze en het eten was goed. Bediening was netjes en ook leuk. Prijzen zijn gewoon. Gewoon goed.

Zijn bij de Hertog-Jan brouwerij geweest en hebben hier 1 overnachting gedaan. Prima kamer maar een douche met douchegordijn is ook prima ware het niet dat deze iets te kort was. En de afzuiging deed het maar het zou beter werken als er roosters in de deur zouden zitten. Heel de doucheruimte staat vol met vocht.
Wat betreft de bedden die zijn zeer goed dus genoten van een licht benevelde goed nacht.

Top resterant! Goed smakelijk eten alles zelf gemaakt, betaalbaar, zit er van binnen gezellig sfeer uit, fijne nette mensen van de bediening en ook de kok👌

Prima hotel mooi midden in het dorp gelegen. Vriendelijke mensen en een goeie kok.

Super lekker gegeten. Nog nooit zo'n lekkere biefstuk gehad, als het kon had ik wel 10 sterren gegeven. Aardige bediening en ze geven je alle aandacht! Heel fijn, het voelt als thuis.

Heel gemoedelijk en fijn Hotel met zeer vriendelijk personeel. Kamers groot en schoon.We hebben heerlijk gegeten ( en gedronken☺) al waren de BESTELDE scherpe spareribs wel wel aan de scherpe kant😉.We komen zeker nog eens terug. Groetjes van de 4 motorrijders

Goede morgen wij hebben hier overnacht van 25-2 tot 26-2 met 3 gangen menu en ontbijt! Alles was super geregeld👍 aardig personeel de beheerders waren ook zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam en soepel! Dit hotel is zeker een aanrader! Wij gaan zeker terug komen! Grt corne en sjenine. Peter en chantal (ijsclub)
