Grand Café Het Lokaal

We came there occasionally and actually wanted to find coffee and deserts, but... finally had whole dinner there :)

I have seen the comment, that ribs were not tasty - they were amazing! As well as all other starters, mains and deserts! (Potato was above all praises, you can forget about diet here). The young waitress was very friendly and responsive — she made us cocktail that was not in menu and recommend really good wine 🍷 and beer 🍻

It has an atmosphere of an old-fashioned bar, it is possible to sit outside or relax in dark tones of the hall.

And coffee was nice too) ☕

P.S. maybe for those who is not a fan of sauces, it is better to ask to serve them separately. Enjoy!

Great food and a good bar. But what is the best is the attention of the waiters. Never seen in the Netherlands this kind of hospitality. They see when your glass is empty, are sympathic and turn on the TV right away if they hear you want to see an event. Excellent!

Good atmosphere, well kept beer and a helpful and friendly staff. Excellent outdoor seating area. Dogs allowed in. Deserving of further visits.

S'middags wat Drankjes genuttigd met een bittergarnituur. S'avonds wezen eten, broodplank en mosterdsoep als voorgerecht. De lekkerste mosterdsoep die ik ooit gegeten heb. Daarna kippendijen en sate met friet. Had iets minder zout mogen zijn de sate(saus). Vriendelijke medewerkers.

Gezellig en sfeervol restaurant in het centrum van Delfzijl. Leuke kaart met prima gerechten. Prijzen zijn schappelijk en bediening is vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

Leuke aankleding, vriendelijk personeel. Lekkere biertjes

Gyoza was heerlijk, leuke menukaart en vriendelijk personeel. Gamba's waren lekker gemarineerd en goed klaargemaakt!

Leuke plek echt goed eten.
De Spareribs zijn net zo goed als de beste die ik al gegeten heb.

Een oud gymlokaal een andere functie geven lijkt me lastig maar hier in Delfzijl is dat prachtig gelukt! Met behoud van de originele vloer en plafonds is er een goed geheel van gemaakt. Het klopt gewoon, komt daarbij gastvrije ontvangst en eten zoals het moet zijn. Goed!
