A school full of history and supportive teachers. Has a great sense of community and is open minded to diversity. Gives a very cultured view of the world, that you cannot find at any other school.

Fantastic school, great teachers. Class of ‘84 it’s been 39 years since. It gave me the foundation for an epic personal journey. The last 20 years of which I have settled on being a principal of a dutch school. I strongly believe knowledgeable, motivated teachers can leave their mark in students. For me they did!

My kids went to this school for twelve years and are fluent in three languages plus one they can get by in. We have friends all over the world and are still in regular contact with many of them thanks to social media. A small school means fewer academical choices but also a close-knit community away from home. I'll always prefer the latter. Running an institution with that much diversity cannot be easy. Thanks, ESB!

I have been an ESB student for 17 years (probably one of the longest ESB student stays). Started in 1980 at the age of 3 (yes those years it was possible) and received my Bac in 1997. Small classes with a lot of intercultural connections.

In those years not only focused on the education but also on extracurricular activities to expand not only your knowledge but also other skills. Some of these skills are still useful till today and are still not wide available for all pupils outside this school system.

Due to the sizing of classes the connection between students and teachers can be better and the attention for personal notes in education are possible. Some pupils had up to 37 hours and some 31 hours (1 school hour = 45mins) in their final two years based on their own curriculum.

Even after school students/alumni have contact over the whole world and stay connected. Not only within the ESB but in some cases from more European schools (e.g. Europarties where great for that!).

Great memories and in some cases still great friendships and connections amongst pupils and/or teachers.

Love this school, it has given me so many wonderful memories.

Beautiful memories, i spent my whole childhood at ESB and would recommend it to everyone.

I graduated from the school in 1997 - ESB was the greatest institute of education I have ever been privileged to participate in. From students and faculty to facilities and curriculum, the whole experience changed my outlook on life and opened my eyes to the true potential of an integrated, well rounded and complete education. Times change and people too, my only hope is that the spirit of inclusion, openness and excellence remain for new generations of European students to enjoy.

Schade, dass es hier so viele unkonstruktive Bewertungen gibt. Habe von Kindergarten bis bac, meine gesamte schulzeit hier verbracht. Einzigartiges Schulsystem, toller Zusammenhalt. Habe mich immer wohl gefühlt! So gut lernt man nirgends wo anders Sprachen!
