Fonteyn Groede

What a gem! Located at the cutest market with a terrace next to the fountain. We had the lemon tartelette and some really good icecoffee. Will come back for more!

Delicious, fresh ice cream with open terrace seating on the square, looking at the church and the fountain.

It’s also a restaurant but we only tried the ice cream.

Beautiful setting in a perfect square with a gurgling fountain in the background. The coffee was surprisingly good for a café in a tiny village with very well textured milk.

It’s a long time since I visited this place and forgot/missed to write a review.
The service was good, the food brilliant, and the atmosphere even better. The staff were so good that they let us leave the premises without full payment as our credit cards were not accepted, and let us return later with the balance paid through their letter box.
All in all excellent !!

Very nice and well managed, I would call it Bistro at the very idyllic city centre of Groede. You can get small lunch dishes, ice cream, Tarte and coffee. The Tarte Fonteyn is a dream come true.

This lively coffee shop in the heart of picturesque village Groede offers home made ice-cream and an outstanding espresso. You can have both, ordering an Affogato :)

Friendly staff, great selection in the menu. Location is great, and free parking on the square.

Probably the best ice cream I have ever tasted! Delicious! Try the stracciatella - its marvelous!
