Unique museum for the family to visit. My Kids are 11 and 13 and they were engaged throughout their time at the museum. The museum provides listening devices to get further insight into each piece. There are many examples of historic attempts at modem technologies. They don't allow photography inside.

This was a brilliant, amusing, well presented, informative and fascinating museum. Providing a good hour's worth of entertainment, both adults and an 8 year old child alike were entertained. The English translations were excellent. All in all an absolutely excellent way to spend an afternoon. I really want to take my eccentric uncle here, he'd love it! Definitely keep an eye out for the 'bum blower'...

5/5 such a treasure and the most unique museum I’ver ever been. A place where u can see in real the inventions of Da Vinci but only have existed on paper. I got to see different flying machines, music instruments played by cats. Shoes that make you float in water. Costume filled with needles that protect females at night. The most bizarre and magical ideas that were only in paper were recreated by Bizarium and you can see it in real life. I become amazed by the beauty of human imagination. How wild our dreams can reach, and how much we can create. The owner and creator of the museum Marc is at the museum to show you the story behind each invention and deeply touched by the end where his message is so warm I encourage us and humans to not be afraid of failure, how many bizarre and amazing steps and imaginations we went through to finally allow man to fly, to create electricity, and many more amazements and magic that became reality. It made me return my heart back into a child, how we can create forever as long as we dream. I can’t wait to come back with my friends and family and Marc the owner and inventor and a lifetime industrial designer will ongoingly make new designs through the year and hav new additions in this most special Bizarium!

We visited Bizarium for our work outing. It is fantastic. Everyone loved it. Best museum we ever visited. All inventions well made and will surprise you. Also the audio tour is a must. Good, clear and funny instructions.
The owners and staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. We will definitely visit again. It is a must see.

Amazing museum. Marc and Ann have made tremendous efforts to recreate a array of crazy, funny, inventive objects that they found in old and more recent patent archives. All objects have been reproduced with very much care for detail. We were lucky enough to have the sympathetic couple as our personal guides AND we got to see how it is possible to transfer electricity without a wire.

Amazing little place in a beautiful and quaint town. We had the honour of being their first English visitors. We found it through trip advisor by chance . It's quirky and interesting. Not huge but what they have is very interesting. We came with our kids and they had a great time, especially laughing at the video at the end of the exhibition. We would love to return here in the future.

Friendly staff, high quality and interesting exhibits throughout. Texts are available in four languages. Audio tour is Eur 3 extra for adults. Worth paying for to get additional insight and stories if you are willing to listen to most of them.

Amazing couple of hours. Interesting collection of inventions spanning the last 600 years. The owner & curator of the museum is happy to answer your questions & demonstrate some of the machines. Thoroughly recommend for adults & children. Excellent explanations of the machines in English Dutch French & German

Exceeded my expectations,
Was really informative and we had an amazing guide tour from an amazing man.

He showed us the important part that is unseen " their ideas helped to build what we have now. So was not failure but attempts to a future apperception"

The perfect place and let your mind wonder! I personally loved this place and should be a must visit if you are in the area. Private museum run like a proffesional heavy subsidied one. Keep your eye out for the owner who build it all half way your visit

Simply great! Especially if you are into geeky inventions and design. The owner is a lovely man which made every individual piece of art by himself. Very recommended to have a look.

One word: Arsetrumpet!
Make sure you get the audioguide to hear it in all it's glory.

Seriously though: Go here! It is a labour of love and the owners deserve every visitor they can get. If you're even remotely open to weird and wonderful ideas, you will not be dissapointed.

This has got to be the best museum I have ever been to. Lots of fun. It was hilarious but also super interesting, which is great because I don't find many museums interesting.

Bizarium is one of the most interesting museums I've ever visited: it showcases the heroic failures that have been documented throughout time, many with beautifully made recreations. The arse trumpet and goggles with wipers were particular favourites. Sluis itself is a beautiful town, so well worth a visit.
