B.V. Daimler House

For my son, who has a passion for model trains, this was our third visit to the shop. It's like he's hypnotized every time we come here, and I can totally understand the feeling of pure joy he experiences.

Although the shop may be small, it's definitely a legend in its own right, having survived since 2005 when other model train shops have disappeared one by one.

B.V. Daimler House sells second-hand rolling stock for Märklin and Fleischmann, as well as model railway scenery and materials, including scenic materials, pre-built model kits, primarily in HO gauge and occasionally in OO scale. You can find model locomotives, whether they're steam, diesel, or electric, as well as freight cars/wagons, coaches, carriages or passenger cars. They also have a great selection of model scenery supplies, dioramas, and even little model cars/dinky. As someone who's not well-versed in the world of model trains, I apologize if I got any of the terms wrong. My son knows more than I do!

I have great respect for the shop owner who has dedicated his retirement to diving deep into the world of this hobby. It's no easy feat to survive in this constantly-changing industry, but he's been consistent. He clearly has a wealth of knowledge about model trains, having experienced the ups and downs of the modeling world. He also seems genuinely interested in every customer that walks through the door.

Generally speaking, B.V. Daimler House is a wonderful little shop that's managed to maintain its unique charm and character over the years. It's definitely worth a visit for anyone with a passion for model trains! ❤
