Good variety of products at decent price

OMG! That is really huge bouwmarkt! We have found all things what we were looking for and so many options. Although we need even just a simple tape now, obviously we'll get there. I realized that cheaper prices than many markets.

Very useful shop. Lots of tools and furniture parts for DIY. The prices of plant pots are the cheapest I could find for the same products.

They have so many items you get out thinking you just need a bigger house in order to buy something from each isle! I found a beautiful sink there. Good catch!

First I like to say I am a American currently in the Netherlands so my dutch is not good enough to write this review in Dutch. Being from the USA in the silicon valley I know home dumpo as I like to call it well so when arriving at Hornbach hardware store I immediatly seen the identical branding and carbon copy of homedepo at hornbach. Which normally scares me or makes me thinking oh great just another copycat that will be a terrible copy of the original. Boy was I impressed when I walked into HORNBACH! Let me tell you this is how a hardware store should look like and its employees should treat customers in a hardware store! 5 Stars all across the board for both cleanliness organization and great customer service! The layout of the store is exactly like homedepo but far better. The stores products are all clearly marked and priced and everything has its place. The store is huge with a extremely broad selection of products for a hardware store with some additions like a Pet Section that rivals Pet Smart in the USA. The pet section even includes a aquarium section with fish. They have a decor section which displays posters and paintings to hang on the wall etc even large clocks. Its a bit like Ikea like in this way. The lighting and bathroom fixtures area is amazing with incredible staged fake full size bathrooms with 3 walls to showcase tubs shower stalls and cabinets for the bathrooms. The size of this store is really big and you can spend hours wondering this store. I want to tip my hat to the owner and employees of Hornbach who do such a great job of maintaining the stores appearance and serving its customers. This hardware store should show home dumpo how its done and homedumpo should be ashamed of itself after you experience Hornbach. I even had the pleasure of meeting Jos Van Der Gun the owner at this store. What a nice guy who spoke english very well super nice guy who explained to me the history of this German Family owned business. How many times honestly do you get to meet the owner of a big box store like this and have a honest good conversation with them. I was told that the employees go through hours and hours of constant training to know their departments products and how to use them so they can help customers. Any american who knows what customer service is like in a American homedumpo will tell you how bad that is. As Jose Van Gun said himself at home depo they walk up to you and say "Can I help you and turn and walk away then disappear never to be seen again" never actually helping the customer. At Hornbach they actually help you and tell you all you need to know how to find something or fix something. I can not say enough good things about this hardware store. I will never go to the local Praxis hardware store its Hornbach only for me. I will be a loyal customer of Hornbach and recommend them handsdown to anyone needing a hardware store. The americans sure could learn a lot from this business. When you walk into a Homedepo in the USA its all dirty and messy god forbid you have to use the bathrooms in a American home depo which has steel door stalls in the bathroom which are all broken. In Hornbach the bathrooms are clean the stalls are made of formica coated press board yet are not broken or destroyed and filthy. When you use a Hornbach bathroom its very clean with plenty of stalls and sinks. In the USA when you go to home depo you cant even find a employee to help you. You can wipe a inch of dust off of the lighting displays in a home depo but not at hornbach the store looks brand new and is a showroom showcase. Great Job guys!

Love this place. They've got a wide range of almost anything diy related. Compared to other major Dutch consumer diy stores, Hornbach's prices are great.

Very nice and big place for your home projects and hobby. If you need any help, find one of the senior guys and they can help you with anything. Don't ask the young ones.

Very very Expensive but beautifull and from all kind of nice things you can find there. Even nice small magnets and stickers. And the plants are the Wow factors for me. But also the rest..i just cant afford them.

I like this place. One spot solution for all home needs. It has best price as compared to other bouwmarkt. For plants as well it is single place to get amazing nplant at very reasonable cost. I love Hornbach.

Really easy to find what are you looking for. Rich choice of products. All cards are accepted. Definitely visit it, you won't be disappointed, you WILL find what you looking for!!!

Everything was good and the best thing is that I had many questions and I happened to talk to a Farsi-speaking employee. Therefore, my score is perfect and I thank the employee who helped me.

Probably the best bricolage center in town.
The drive in is super.
One negative aspect: if you do not have a Dutch ID card you cannot rent any tool.

They have a lot of products, usually relatively cheap, and a big plus is that you can buy screws and bolts per piece instead of having to buy a huge box if you only need one or two!
