Restaurant Paal 8 aan zee

Menu van de dag was heerlijk, bediening was supervriendelijk. Prijs was iets boven verwachting maar dat lag meer aan de hoeveelheid wijn

we had delicious dishes here; the three-course menu also looked delicious, with a lot of thought put into its combination. the quality of the food (especially the meat) was better than in most other places on the island and on par with the other few higher-end choices (in west-terschelling, like de zee or caracol). the food is pricey, for very similar dishes like we had at 'loods' in west-terschelling the price was about 3 euros more; so for that one star off. considered that everything has to be shipped to the island the price is actually ok. unlike mentioned in another rating the sides are included in the price.

tonight was a colab with "pasta aan zee"
the food was medium, too much salt and the meat was not the best quality. however the vibe and the drive of the waiter and cooks were very good! so A for effort but D for performance.

the main thing we are disappointed about is the fact that a bottle of normal water was 7 euro even though we also ordered wine with every course.

Slechte bediening en erg duur. Je krijgt ook nog eens geen waar voor je geld. Extra betalen voor bijgerechten zoals groente en Vlaamse friet (enige keus) is niet meer van deze tijd.
Niet de moeite waard, als je lekker uit eten wil zou elk ander restaurant op Terschelling een betere keus zijn.
