I was here for a business meeting, but we didn’t stay overnight, therefore i can’t honestly review the hotelrooms in particular. It is a nice location, with friendly staff. we were at the brewery of the hotel where you can enjoy a beer made at the brewery itself. You’re surrounded by lots of nature. The buildings itself are beautiful aswell, i could see this to be a much sought after wedding location.

I like to have afternoon tea in here. Now is the time when the magnolia flowers are blooming in the courtyard, which is so beautiful.

Beautiful former monastery hotel with gorgeous gardens, a church and a vineyard. The rooms are very simple but with good beds. We had a breathtaking view though. Nice restaurant, lush breakfast buffet and good wifi at the premises. Large parking lot with two electric chargers for EV’s. Recommendable.

Outstanding Hospitality, Super helpful front desk, Great terrace and Restaurant. The restaurant is on point Head Waiter keeping an eye on everything, managing the crowds. Food was spot on and the cheese plate was epic... Watching the chef at the pass plate those fantastic dishes in a calm manner was refreshing. Everybody keep up the great work. Abby Biers, especially the Dubble simply fantastic...

Our private room was really excellent, with a gorgeous view. I gave only a 4 star because the bed was way too soft but fortunately didn't wake up with back pain. We'd gladly stay again. Really beautiful and unique!

Wow, just wow. Beautiful area and very peaceful. The room (deluxe) was large and luxurious. The buildings were beautiful, and the beer was great. Both breakfast and dinner were good. The café located in the cellar had a good atmosphere and the bartender was very friendly. My compliments to the staff!

Great hidden gem food on evening and breakfast was fantastic beds very comfortable room very basic with sink shared toilets and showers however they were individual so all very clean great showers

The castle is amazingly beautiful. The food has high quality. However, the rooms are decorated in the modern style, don't have the feeling of historical building at all. The view outside of the room window is also super nice.

We had an comfort room with own bathroom. This was a clean room, and furnished with todays furniture. Beds were fine.
Shower was excellent.

Dining was fine as well. The menu is a bit limited, but the quality is good.
Breakfast is good. Nice bread.

Unique atmosphere! The building of the abbey is wonderful, and my personal feeling was that I'm spending the night in a museum. The hotel part is just fine, nothing really special, but everything else - the surroundings, the restaurant, the little zoo at the lakeside compensate it. The hotel staff was extremely polite, and the breakfast was a nice touch.

This abbey has been around for a few centuries, it is the last seminary in the Netherlands, and their spare space is now used as a cultural congress center and hotel.

They have rooms with en-suite bathroom or with shared bathrooms. Mostly the ones with the shared bathrooms still have this old wooden floor and small washbasin feel to them, I much prefer them for short stays. I keep coming back here when I’m in the area because I love the old building and its atmosphere.

The only drawback for me is that if I work late, the restaurant generally won’t be serving food anymore by the time I show up to ask for it around 20:30. Breakfast is great though :-)

Went here for the Christmas Market. Dozens of interesting stalls spread around the cloisters and conference rooms. Restaurant had a couple of very good soups on. Entrance fee very reasonable. Great chance to see this beautiful and vast abbey.

I feel me like a King. It is so amazing here... Very big areal and garden. Beautifully old houses and streets. Our Room was great and I feel me anno 1842 😍

Located in the beautiful city of Kerkrade this is one of my favorite places to stay in the area. Magnificent buildings, good vibe, nice rooms, and a great staff! One time the room I was staying in had some problem and the staff was happy to promptly change and upgrade my room at no extra cost.

Really enjoyed our room. The restaurant was very good. The ambience was great. Art and sculptures everywhere to enjoy. Nice hiking around the Abbij. Close to Maastricht and Aachen. They have their own beer, which is very enjoyable.

Room was amazing, great history put into small details. It's an old monastery used for multiple things, Airbnb, hotel, restaurant, entertainment and historical purposes. Bathrooms could do with updating. Food is absolutely amazing.

It was great time, place is beautiful,and so peaceful. Very friendly service and nice clean rooms. I recommend guided tour by the abbey!

Went there for a physics convention. Not really modern, but nice nonetheless. The hotel room I stayed in was quite nice, but the main selling point of this venue is without a doubt its beautiful historical charme. The staff was nice and the food was good as well.

Nice historical place, with good reestaurant and comfortable rooms. I liked rich brakfest :)

Very unique abbey setting with excellent bar restaurants and close to great gravel and mountain bike area. The setting makes this place a must for short stay
