A very interesting and historical area! The airport was a military airport for a long time. Therefore in peace time it is logical that the nature’s flora and fauna was well protected inside this large best secured piece of Dutch Twente land.
From a historic point of view this is the most interesting airport in The Netherlands! In fact this is an exceptional spot where an eventual war and the peace of nature walked hand in hand for more than 75 years!

Ich bin mal wieder geradelt und hatte dieses Ziel.
Ein wunderschöner Ort...
Toll zum Radeln und Wandern.
Die Natur holt sich ihr Eigentum zurück.
Es gibt so viel zu entdecken, die wichtigen Punkte sind toll und ausführlich erklärt.

Vliegveld Twenthe is een unieke en bijzondere locatie voor een evenement. Het terrein heeft een stoere en historische sfeer, met veel ruimte en mogelijkheden. De hangars, de strip en de diverse gebouwen zijn allemaal sfeervol en goed ingericht. Het personeel is vriendelijk en deskundig. Het enige minpuntje is dat het soms wat lastig te bereiken is met het openbaar vervoer. Verder een toplocatie!

Super Flohmarkt viel Auswahl echt für jeden was dabei. Parken kostenlos genügend Parkplätze vorhanden Eintritt 4€ wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. PS im Navi nicht airport twente eingeben sondern die Event lokation sonst kommt ihr beim Flughafen aus Flohmarkt ist bei Hangar 11 auf einem Rollfeld

Ich denke wenn der Flughafen zum Passagier Flughafen ausgebaut wird würde sich das in der Region gut machen auch für die an der Grenze zu Deutschland
