Hotel Lands End

Always a warm welcome, comfy rooms fantastic hosts. Restaurant menu is a little repetitive but that maybe more apparent due to multiple visits.

The rooms could use some attention to detail, the floor seem unfinished by the walls, the touch of the Nespresso coffee is very good. The rooms overlooking the seafront are superb. Special mention needs to go the reception where Robin made is feel at home with her charm and willingness to help. The same cannot be said for the restaurant where supper was mediocre, upon our arrival no one of the staff acknowledged us and when we asked 2 ladies at the counter for help they moved and continued to browse their mobiles. Despite us waiting some while before finally being lead to a table and we were immediately asked for drinks, the service seems rushed. The food was mediocre with the mixed fish grill being very very dry and almost inedible. The breakfast was poor with rubber eggs and some left over bacon, and the rest of the buffet untidy, unclean and lacking the attention that it required. To the hotel 5 stars the restaurant however no more that 2 stars.

Good sized, modern and clean rooms. Very welcoming and tolerant staff.
Restaurant was surprisingly tasty.
Location is a little out of town, but super handy for anyone getting the ferry.

Great service, clean rooms and the food from their restaurant was excellent. I would highly recommend this place.

We were also able to enjoy their sauna and jacuzzi.

We will definitely be going again.

Only (-)ve point was that the noise of the sea wind blowing was very loud. We were later told that this was because it was a corner room. So, watch out for that if you don't like the sound of the wind blowing. However, apparently my husband and I were in the minority as we were told that people actually liked the sound and found it comforting. 😊

This is a beautiful little hotel at an amazing location. The "Lands End" is stunning especially during sunsets. It is also a great starting point for trips to Texel (the ferry terminal is just a 3 minutes walk away). The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful, the rooms are tidy, very nicely furnished, and the one we had (and most of the others) has a great view at the sea. We arrived at the high season, with just a day-before reservation, and still got a great room for a reasonable price.

After a long trip or drive, if you expect to be good welcomed and accommodated, then you are lucky on your choice. The natural views plus the welcoming from the personal will do your day. This hotel in other words its a lovely place to be.

Not actually at lands end, but in den helder. Very nice though. You can watch the ferries come and go and have your biscuits stolen by the birds. Food was great. Service friendly.

Love hanging out at the end of the planet where the water meets the land. So peaceful and quiet.

Nice restaurant with breakfast included for a reasonable rate.

And a few minutes walk from the ferry to Texel island for a day of bike riding and adventure.

Personal is very friendly and helpful. Upon my arrival restaurant was closed already but reception girl ordered food for me from the city and charged it to my room. Great. Recommended 😃

Amazing sea view, friendly staff and as a bonus, if you get a clear sky, you can actually see the Milky Way from your balcony. Beautiful view from the restaurant's terrace.

Receptionist was very kind and the view from the room is awesome. Nice getaway from the chaos of Amsterdam. In terms of price/quality, expect what you pay for and you will be happy.

Great place to stay, a rooms are fully equipped (flatscreen HD tv, bath and shower, tea and coffee). Lots of rooms have sea view. Restaurant and bar are fine. Very friendly an helpful staff.

Had a great stay here. The room was clean and decent size, not large though. The staff were really friendly and they had a lot of parking spaces available.

Best hotel in Den Helder. Everything in good condition and not that old like in other hotels of Den Helder! The food is delicious

Nice place on the shoreline. Suitable rooms and excellent restaurant on the first floor with tables in the open air.
