Very interesting and interactive museum

We thought it would be a quick museum (1-2h), but in the end we spent almost 3h if not more here. With 3 different floors and the option to buy a ticket for a boat-ride its a museum that has a lot to offer, for young and for old. There's lots to do and to see, but also an exposition on the 2nd floor that's less interesting for younger kids but has a lot of info about different shipwrecks between the tip of North-Holland and Texel. We half-used the audio-tour and went partly our own way, but I would recommend both.

Never thought that water safety can be so interesting! I loved each and every part of the museum - it's super educational, interactive and fun. You can learn there how to use Morse code, experience the Beaufort scale on your body and many more. Everything except one part about a sunk ship is in English.

Erg leuk museum voor voor volwassenen en met name ook erg leuk voor kinderen omdat er zo veel te doen is voor de kinderen. Ook erg vriendelijke museum medewerkers!

In Willemsoort is van alles te zien maar als je even een 1,5 uur over hebt is dit een leuk museum om even een kijkje te nemen .
Ook kan je in het museum even een rondvaartbedrijf door de haven scoren voor slechts 4.5 euro pp was ook leuk.

Sehr schön gemachte und gut gepflegte Ausstellung. Wir hatten einen Vormittag riesigen Spaß. Den Audio-Guide gibt es auch auf Deutsch und Englisch. Der Besuch hat sich auf jeden Fall gelohnt. Die Hafentour sollte man beim Ticket-Kauf mit buchen.

Das Reddingmuseum sollte auf jeden Fall auf dem Zettel stehen, ein sehr schönes und kinderfreundliches Museum, alles mehrsprachig und sehr nette Leute dort. Familienkarte für 35 Euro ist völlig ok. Viel wissenswertes und lehrreiches für groß und klein. Die Rundfahrt mit dem kleinen Rettungsschiff auf jeden Fall mit buchen. Insgesamt ein toller Ausflug bei dem die Zeit schneller vergeht als gedacht.
