A beauty, highly recommend going for a stroll or run here. Lots of options in roads with a bikelane through the middle as an easy reference point. Perfect for 0-8km runs!

Fijne plek om te wandelen dichtbij Alkmaar. Mooie wandelingen te maken, ook rond Landgoed Nijenburgh.

Spontaan besloten om een paar uurtjes naar dit bos te gaan met mijn vriend, om even uit te waaien en te resetten. De meeste bomen waren nog groen, maar overal lagen blaadjes en waren paddenstoelen te zien. Het bos is goed onderhouden en groot genoeg om rondjes te lopen. Zeker een aanrader als je even een wandeling wilt maken.

Fijn bos om een rondje te lopen. Er zijn diverse routes uitgezet met diverse afstanden. Ga wel vroeg want het kan erg druk worden.

Mooi oud bos, dit bos is honderden jaren oud. Vroege landeigenaren die omstreeks 1700 dit gebied beheersten, legden zichtlijnen aan.
