Restaurant Belvedère Gouda

They found us a good table. The service was friendly and quick. Food and drinks very good. Location very convenient. A place to visit while in Gouda.

Tomato soop was one of the best I've eaten, it had rich fresh sweet tomato taste. Perfect!
Gouda soup was not somethnig remarkable I didn't taste gouda, more likely some herbs.
Kaasfondue was okay, light and small portion for one person.
Mint tea, full of fresh mint leaves, very intense. Best! The terrace of the restaurant is on the main square, it is wonderful to sit out side and watch daily movement in the city centre. Chairs have heated seats, and there are heaters around, so it makes enjoying outside on kold days possible.

It’s crowded but they will try and find you a place it’s not very long wait. Their Pannekoek was amazing they serve it with apple molasses and powdered sugar you can also add on it extra stuff if you don’t like it plain I added apple. They have good amount of options in the menu but I highly recommend their Pannekoek! The seats are heated once you sit on them they start heating themselves and once you get up they turn off it’s very smart to keep customers warm during windy cold days.

Very good experience in Gouda! Our waitress Josien did such a great job, we could not possibly ask more of her. ♥
We had dinner on Saturday evening, outside by the fire, on the non smoking side of the terrace. Usually there is no such non smoking option so we avoid outside areas, but you can find it here! 🚭
Our order was the burger (they made it gluten free for one of us) and the cheese soup. Both were delicious, specially the burger. It was not the best burger I had in my life but it was clearly made with good ingredients and prepared precisely well. 🍔
We had gin tonic, which was as good as expected. 🍸

I love this place, was very cold, but we were outside on the terrace. We ordered cheese soupe...whaoo...it was amazing, tasty...also the sandwiches and the service. Thank You. We will go there again.🥰

Wow what a place! The young waitresses are so polite and only too pleased to help you. A welcome smile and such a pleasant manner! The menu was excellent but having a few intolerances/allergies is often problematic for me when dining out. The waitress was a dream and she went off to ask the chef if they could adapt recipes for me, which they did! They made the risotto just for me and made a brand new desert for me which was the most delicious dessert I have ever had our in a restaurant. I cannot thank them enough and highly recommend it.

A very nice place. Delicious food, We especially loved the tuna salad and sandwiches (a really big portions), delicious coffee with cookies. Very friendly staff who let us in a some time before the opening

Great restaurant in the center of the cheese town of Gouda. Delicious gouda pairs well with the rich yet light tomato soup.

Busy cafe on the edge of the market square. Lovely cafe with outdoor and indoor seating. Good choice of speciality coffee and good cold drink selection. A welcome respite in the hectic market.

Always a decent spot for a lunch at the main square with a nice atmosphere. Food is decent, but nothing special.

We had dinner there with our friends and everything was very good, the food was delicious- burger, bitterballen, apple strudel ❤.

Reasonably priced and great service! They were very accommodating and the food was delicious! Our favorites were the cheese soup and the truffle mushroom soup! We have 3 kids ranging in age from 2 to 13 and they all loved it as well. Great for meals with friends or meals with family!
