Salt Noordwijk

Very nice restaurant right in the dunes of Nordwijk specializing in Seafood. We had a lovely lunch featuring perfectly arranged and prepared fish and seafood. Definitely worth the price. The service is also very professional.

Lovely place for a seaside lunch, even in off-season! Service is leisurely, so don't be in a hurry and you will have a great experience.

Went there in a super windy afternoon. Inside is warm and cozy.
The big tank of live lobsters is impressive, and reassuring of the freshness of the food here.
The mix plate (40EUR per person) is highly recommended. You taste 3 fishes, shrimps and lobster in one meal, which is very nice.

Oyster is also served as additional order. Liked the sauce more than the oysters themselves. Not super fresh. Meat inside also very thin. Do not recommend.

Great restaurant with friendly service and a view on to the waves. Also outdoor seating protected from the wind in the summer.
Lots of interesting seafood dishes at a fair price. Definitely will be coming back again soon. Tuna tartare as a starter was fantastic.

It was the best Lobster risotto I’ve ever tasted 😋 So creamy, flavorful and well-cooked. I would like give a big hug to the chief 👨🏻‍🍳 My foodie heart is so happy 😊

This is a great cozy place right on the dunes. It’s like eating in the living room you want to have on the beach. Delicious food, friendly service and great atmosphere. Whether sunny or stormy, you’ll enjoy the experience.

We had a great evening at Salt. When we came we were a little disappointed because we had a table at the entrance even though we did a reservation weeks in advance nur the staff was very thoughtful and offered another table as soon as it was free.
The Food was incredibly good. I had the seabrass which was great although the size was a little tiny considering the price. On the other hand the sides where of high quality too and it was looking fancy too. But my spouse had the lobster risotto and i was very suprised to see that the size of the plate absolutly overwhelmed my expectations.
Drinks I had a Gin Tonic and an Espresso Martini. Gin Tonic was good but nothing extraordinary, Espresso Martini was out of the ordinary good.

The food was delicious. The staff did their best to provide us a good service even if the restaurant was crowded. I would definitely go there again when I come back in the area.

Delicious cuisin is served at this restaurant. They are mostly specialized in sea foods plus other dishes. This restaurant is strategically located right in front of the North sea with a spectacular view of the sea itself! Thinking sea? Come to Salt.

Nice little beachfront seafood place that we stopped on the LF bike ride from Haarlem to Haag.

The food was pretty good. We shared the bread starter, catch of the day, three fish sandwich, and the lobster risotto. The fish was fresh, and the portion sizes were large. My wife really loved the catch of the day with black pasta. Lobster risotto was mostly shrimp flavored.

Great atmosphere, good service, reasonably pricy.

I would highly recommend anyone to visit this place and try out their high quality seafood! In addition, the Pornst*r Martini sorbet dessert is great!

The staff was really nice and the tables were clean. I decided to go before they served brunch which I was unaware they didn't serve until a certain time but they still served us drinks such as tea, coffee, and some alcoholic beverages as well. They allowed us to wait for a little while until the kitchen opened up. Food was great! We devoured everything it was that tasty. They also have restrooms on site. Highly recommend for a quick bite and relax.
