Harteveltvis, boulevard Katwijk

When I come to the boulevard of Katwijk aan Zee I like to eat a nice fried fish at this place at Harteveldvis, it is an excellent quality fish, the service of the staff is top, the menu list is for tourists in 3 languages, English, German and Dutch drafted. So I can definitely recommend a visit.

Best food we had in the Netherlands. Highly recommend and super affordable! Beautiful views and very casual (serve yourself style).

I live in Brisbane, Australia and was born in Leeds, Yorkshire.. But whenever I am in the Netherlands, and we go usually every 2 years we go to get fish and chips from here. They are the best fish and chips you will ever eat anywhere in the world including the UK. Fresh, tasty and not soggy like those English fish and chips. Do yourself a favour and just get some.

Stopped here on cold, foggy January afternoon on return leg of long bike ride. Lovely fresh generous sized portion of kibbeling served by two friendly chaps. Very nice cup of hot chocolate with whipped cream. Other customers very friendly too. Thanks...lifesaver!

The people serving us were friendly, helpful and the food was quite amazing! They even warned us to watch out for the seagulls, which was no joke, because one swooped down and snatched the piece of kibbling right out of my hand as I was getting ready to eat it!

During the COVID19 lockdown I ate the Kibbeling klein with Ravigotti sauce almost every day and it kept me alive for months. 10/10, would lockdown again. 👌

Broodje paling will make your taste buds dance in ecstasy. Beware of the cheeky seagulls waiting for their chance.
