This is such a beautifully ornate hotel and it's right on a long, wide stretch of sandy beach. We were a little worried when we read it has a clown theme, but it was very classy, very elegant cirque decor and it was amazing. Full of whimsy and wonder. The reception staff was so kind and helpful. We had a beach view room and the window opened to let in the most wonderful breeze. My wife and I really enjoyed this hotel so much and we wished we could have spent our whole trip there.

Came here for a work meeting and really enjoyed it. The location right on the beach makes for miles of excellent walking. Also a stone's throw from the little downtown, with restaurants and shops. Views from the ocean-facing rooms are amazing. Service and food in the hotel are exceptional- the place is known for their pastries and they didn't disappoint! Located about 30-40 minute drive from Schipol - a great place to get away from the city for a while.

A great place for everything, from conferences to a peaceful seaside vacation with your dog, the place is amazing! Loved to stay here. For me the extra bonus was the fully functional window, that can be opened and you can sleep listening to the sound of the crushing waves of the sea.

Great rooms, friendly service, very nice amenities. I was there on a business trip before Easter so it was still a bit cold, but hotel is right on the beach and has a very nice lounge next to the lobby and plenty of good restaurants within walking distance. If you don't have a car, you can take the Number 20 bus from Lieden Centraal, and it drops you off just a few blocks away, as does bus 385 from Den Haag Centraal

The place is nice, I love the terrace where you can enjoy some nice food and drinks, especially in the summertime. The hotel is huge and the interior a bit old looking, the toilets are not those of a 5☆ hotel. There are things to be worked on, renovated and some parts repaired and painted but the staff are very friendly, discreet and well trained. I will definitely come back as the overall ambiance is great and the seaview outstanding.

Went over the weekend for a mini staycation and had the best time! The room was so incredibly spacious and clean and had the most amazing view overlooking the sea. The buffet breakfast is really good!! Very impressed with how they have adapted to COVID measures but still keeping the warmth of hospitality. Excellent location, just steps away from the beach. Highly recommend!!!

Booked for one night but decided to extend my stay this week! Friendly and professional staff, very clean, great sea view. Great breakfast in room and room serviced dinner.

I agree with other reviews that the décor is a bit dated, would be nice to touch it up with some brighter colours, although the brown tones do well with the sunset.

We had some questions regarding breakfast and room serviced dinner choices, and the reception was helpful and checked everything with the kitchen. The seafood platter was great! Will return there again for sure.

Some trainee employees weren't always great with English communication but were very helpful, I imagine they'll be wonderful once they're done with their traineeship!

The hotel is in a great location on the beach, friendly service with everything one needs. Rooms are very spacious. A little bit dated in decor is the only comment but would highly recommend a stay.

A true 5 star hotel. Other than that, let me add pictures of the gym, as they were not included on Booking or I did not find any on the internet. The service, friendliness, quality of restaurants (we were at the Breakers Beach house) and the sublime ultra high quality breakfast make this a must-stay.

Excellent hotel and lovely staff. I had a very smoothe the check-in process and was given all the details. When I entered the room it was very comfortable and spacious and i had an excellent view of the sea. I did not use the swimming pool or any of the facilities besides the restaurants so cannot comment on these are aspects. However the restaurants were amazing there was a lot of option and the food was delicious.

The hotel is on the seafront and it takes approximately two three minutes to get to the beach from the reception.

I would definitely visit again.

We had a lovely four day stay. Our room was cleaned every day. Nothing could have been done better except for the parking fees.

We brought our dog who stayed in on of the dedicated rooms where dogs are allowed. He received a warm welcome upon arrival and some lovely treats.

The breakfast was, despite a significant lower number of visitors due to COVID-19 absolutely amazing! Broad selection of sweats, bread,cheese and fruits.

The Michelin star restaurant is an absolute treat. Staff is well educated on the food they serve and passionate about the choice of wine.

Would highly recommend the stay at this hotel!

A huge Classic Hotel. Good Service. Nice view on the Sea-Side. Good Bar and Breakfast. A little bit older Hotel, but everything clean and all amenities.

I have attended a professional walk in dinner with more than 500 guests and we only used half of the 1st floor. We were purposely packed to encourage the communication. I am not sure how many people fit in at the tables, but I've been in similar size rooms and those fit around 250 people (please ask them if interested). The room offers everything you would normally expect from this kind of venue. The service was very good.
