DE-LAKELAND IMPERIAL MEDICAL CENTRE

I was at this hospital few days back and it was stress free. As an HMO enrollee, you dont expect to cruise through the hospital. You have to be patient. As for me, it was an entirely different experience.

Superb health care facilities

De-Lakeland Imperial hospital has great doctors but not nurses. The nurses are constantly rude. Wasting people’s time and talking. Last time I visited, a nurse was dressed like she came in to work from the club. In her red alter neck crop top and short leather skirts.
I come here and recommend to people because the doctors know their turf - in terms of maintenance and service delivery; there’s a lot that needs to be done.

Firstly to register me took about an hour, HMO registration shouldn't be that long, I have been to other hospitals and used same HMO. Your receptionist, nurses, pharmacies, and lab technicians are so slow.

After waiting for a Malaria parasite test for over 3hours (normally this test should last a maximum of 30mins) this hospital wasted my 3hrs telling me they don't have light.

As if that was not enough, they didn't have complete drugs to give me, they wrote me some drugs to go and buy outside, and I am sure they will claim all the money from my HMO provider.

The 1star rating is for the friendly doctor I met, as for the remaining staffs, you need proper training on time management and prompt service.
To think you don't have much patients and the delay is this much, one wonder what happens when patients throng into the hospital.

If you want to attend this hospital make sure it's not an emergency and you have plenty time to waste.

Three times I have been here and the experience is so bad. You can never meet doctor on sit. After time wasted for registration. You will wait extra hours for Doctor to arrive.
