It's a house of God with aura of comfort and worship. Strategically built at the heart of Iheakpu Awka town. This place of worship for the Catholics has always been crucial, important and endearing to the people of the community. It is a centre of true happiness and joy for most people. The worshippers both home and abroad toiled, worked and offered their financial and moral supports to see to the completion of the church. It was finally completed and dedicated on 2023 to the glory of God. The joy of worshippers knew no bounds as God has come to dwell permanently in their community. The dedication of the church was carried out by Most Rev. Prof. Godfrey Onah, the Catholic Bishop of Nsukka Diocese. The most notable priest that saw to the speedy completion of the majority of the church is Fr. Celestine Eze.
