St Augustine's Catholic Church Otukpo

Today the bishop of Otukpo diocese Most Very Rev bishop Michael Apochi and the faithful people of Otukpo diocese is dedicating St. Augustine's Catholic church.

One of the most beautiful Catholic churches I have seen. Lots of massive space to park cars, super clean environment. In the church, wow, it's a beauty to behold, nicely made seats and all. The choir is situated above the congregation and it creates a nice sound. Church officials were also on point with everything. I loved this church despite not even being a Catholic, I only attended a wedding here.

Lovely and serene atmosphere to worship Christ. Built by His Excellency, Distinguished Senator David A.B. Mark - immediate past senate president of the Nigerian Senate.

When the catholic choir sing, you can't actually differentiate where you re from heaven. The interior is breathtaking - the lightning and fittings ...superb.

There is nothing more to behold when David builts a house for the Lord.

The ambience is wonderful. The choir is also amazing.

I was brought as a child in this place(church). We started with a small structure and as time drift away, a huge mansion was evinced.

St Augustine catholic church is one of the largest churches in Otukpo, it's an edifice, it just got a face-lift a while ago, the New building was erected by the former senate president of the federal republic of Nigeria.. Senator David Mark, St Augustine has a capacity of over a thousand, with different offices, the compound is been beautified with some stones and flowers, St Augustine have different Rev fathers who run different masses every Sunday. The church is been attended by both young and old.

You need to hear the choir sing! Their singing transports you to a sweet place and give you goose bumps. The harmony is a delight some experience. I like that about that hollowed chamber.
