THE NEW CHURCH BUILDING: In 1961 God spoke through the then Catechist Daniel Olorunfemi Aduramo Oloye now Pastor D.O.A Oloye, (CAC General Superintendent retired)  That a new church be built and if the voice was obeyed the people shall glorify Him.  Without wasting time, the elders viewed this message as very important and they immediately set up a committee to work on this.  The committee comprised: Rufus Oladokun Oloye as the Treasurer, Caleb Adelegan Asst. Treasurer, S.O Obajuluwa as the secretary and J.A. Ogunleye as the Asst. secretary, Other members were Gabriel Oluwalana, Gabriel Alamona, Madam Rachael Ojomo, Mrs C.O. Daramola and Madam Mariam Oluwole. In one of the meeting, J.A. Ogunleye suggested to them that a plan had to be drawn and this was unanimously approved by them. The plan was drawn by Mr. Jimoh Oladele for £60.
Many people put in offer for this work but it was Samuel Adewumi Adegoke who won the  contract. The foundation laying ceremony was fixed to coincide with CAC General Executive Committee meeting in Owo in 1964. Dignitories present: at the ceremony included HRS Sir Olateru Olagbegi II, the Olowo of  owo and  CAC GEC members such as Pastors J.A Madayese, J.B. Odusona, J.B. Orogun, D.O. Babajide, E.T. Latunde, A.A Hanson, was the host Pastor.
