Very friend atmosphere. My ticket to Ibadan came with free subscription to Showmax. They also have POS option of payment train fare in absence of cash (unlike Omi-Adio station in Ibadan).

Courteous staff.
Neat.
Spacious.
Train was punctual, even though the station's clock wasn't working. ☺
Connecting/adjoining road leading to Train Station needs to be fixed though. Not befitting of the status of the edifice.

Very dirty ambience,open defecation on tracks.Facility not gated hence unfettered access by street kids.The access road barely passable n cluttered wit roadside stalls.Traders display their wares on tracks.

I got to the train station in the afternoon- 2hours ahead of departure time. I was so disappointed that the conveniences were locked up. “No water! No light to pump water!” Ebutte Metta station is a better station.
