The consultant I met on the 28th of August 2019 was really fabulous; he listened patiently to my complaints and wrote a lot on my file however, when I got to the lab lady to collect my blood sample, she wrote my bill and I was taken aback seeing the price. For a moment I panicked cos I was wondering if I was terribly ill so I enquired to know what the tests are for but surprisingly, the lady's response was so rude even though I asked politely (note that I am an ambassador for humanity so I ensure to use every means to demonstrate positive communication). I felt highly disappointed because for that moment, I wasn't sure of the outcome of the test and the price was getting me paranoid so I expected a bit of compassion from the lady who rather was chatty with a colleague and unconcerned about my feelings. The next day, I went for my second injection and I met a lady whom was said to be the pharmacist ( not the one on low cut because the one on low cut was highly compassionate and humane. I recommend her). The said pharmacist apparently was having a bad day judging from her strong countenance and her rude response. Another disappointment!

I could go on writing my displeasure, I wanted to fill a feedback box but found non, however, one thing that stood out was the consultant/doctors professionalism and show of compassion as well as the older lady's on low cut. Not to forget the cashier's kindness I heard someone called him Chinedu, I supposed that's his name.

Finally, I suggest that important communities like the hospitals should embrace the culture of showing compassion. People should feel a sense of recovery just by stepping inside a hospital. I wish us all good luck and I hope Lona City Care Hospital's Management take this review serious because apparently they have professional doctors and shouldn't allow their community ethics to be questioned.
