General Murtala Muhammed college jimeta has one of the best outdoor sports center in the city of Jimeta. We can start by saying the basketball team is super talented and great, the Adamawa Lions play there every evenings and sometimes in the mornings..they also have a very great Volleyball team that play every evening and Saturdays in the mornings. There is a soccer pitch by the side also and on Saturday morning there is a team that come for exercise aerobics to be precise. It is a great place for fitness

This school is 100 years in existence. Founded in 1920 by Captain F. W. Taylor, a British colonial administror. The school is a public institution with less managerial attention from its proprietor, the state government. The school presently with less infrastructure, over admits students.
