Kasuwar Kofar Marusa

This used to be the only monument in Katsina City standing as the exact copy of its historical replica. However, the old gate, which was made of mud, was demolished in late 2021 to construct a new one that is stronger and “modern” in outlook.

The new city gate is almost complete today (April, 2022)

But there is a small changes at Kofar Marusa due to the development of the state new thing like road expansion and others things like new building

There is a market near it where many things are sold.

Good but very busy road.

Is a place where you can get a lot of Goods and Service like Many Types of Food such as, Palm Oil, Wight Oil, Yam, Onion, Meat and Others.

A highly populated area in Katsina city with a lot of commercial activities going on along the roads and streets.The historical Kofar Marusa iconic gate adjacent to Lyfcare medical diagnostic services, Alhaji Umaru Sun Sun Tela plaza is an interesting place to visit.

It is very nicely, because it's a center of marketing, anything about food stuff you Will find it there, and people's a very nicely.

The legendary Kofar Marusa Gate is among Katsina's Historic sites which most be mentioned especially when dealing with Pre Colonial Katsina (#As the only access which Colonial Masters uses to enters Katsina)

Because it is a place where I was born, the place is vary nice most especially for those that are doing a traditional or local businesses, and there's hospital, school, market, and others most useful place

Kofar Marusa has and forever been an icon in katsina state. The place have been recently renovated, from the clay ancient structure to a mordern structure but it still resembles its unique ancient design.

Kofar marusa is one of the historical place in the city of katsina State the place contains alot of market where you can buy anything you wishes too

It is a popular region known for its business activities and still harbours the ancient wall of Katsina city.

Is the place where all soup material are derived,its also a bus stop,people was busy on different activities

For centuries, Kofar Marusa is one of the city gates of well fortified Katsina town. Though, no longer serving the purpose, Kofar Marusa is still one of the important historical sites of Katsina town today...
