This is a university it is among the best university In Nigeria it is located at Zaria city kaduna state the university compound is very large nicely one, the have the best of their teachers many are professors they couldn't tolerate any indispline and and the university is full of security.

Ahmadu Bello University is a wonderful school. I wish there were more ways for new people to identify a particular place apart from asking other people. You know like a road map or board you see at the entrance. It would make movement quite easy.

Ahmadu Bello University is a federal government research university in Zaria, Kaduna State. ABU was founded on October 4, 1962, as the University of Northern Nigeria.

The university operates two campuses: Samaru (main) and Kongo in Zaria. There is pre-degree school in Funtua a few kilometres from main campus owned by the university. The Samaru campus houses the administrative offices and the faculties of physical sciences, life sciences, social sciences, arts and languages, education, environmental design, engineering, medical sciences, agricultural sciences and research facilities. The Kongo campus hosts the faculties of Law and Administration. The Faculty of Administration consists of Accounting, Business Administration, Local Government and Development Studies and Public Administration Departments. Additionally, the university is responsible for other institutions and programs at other locations.

It is named after the Sardauna of Sokoto, Alhaji Sir Ahmadu Bello, the first premier of Northern Nigeria.

The university runs a wide variety of undergraduate and graduate programs (and offers associate degrees and vocational and remedial programs). It has a large medical program with its own A.B.U. Teaching Hospital, one of the largest teaching hospitals in Nigeria and Africa.

My experience in A B U university is great and I'm still exploring it.

Ahmadu Bello University Zaria is my alma mater. I graduated from this prestigious university in the year 2019. The university is strategically located in the heart of the ancient city of Zaria. The learning and research facilities are too notch. Having many notable alumni and signing several MoUs with International universities, the institution is rated as one of the best in Nigeria.

It is largest campus in Sub Saharan Africa housing the largest student hostel in Sub Saharan Africa - Suleiman Hall and setting the pace for academic learning in Nothern Nigeria and Nigeria as a whole.

Sure, the people around are helpful in offering directions but I wish the school itself could make finding your way around the school easier. If not for Google maps, I probably would have had a much harder time.I keep getting lost
