Great experience at Gbetu beach. Its an open beach and not commercialised yet.

Natural beach. Some villagers live there. They got canoes for fishing, Coconut trees. Quite some trash has drifted along the shore and been washed up onto the beach. Plastics and other non biodegradables. Human beings should stop dumping trash into the sea expecting it to just float away. We all suffer again as even the sea doesn't want our trash.
I rode my mountain bike here one Saturday morning out of curiosity. The kids in the village kept calling me "Oyibo" (whiteman). I'm actually very black. Wonder what made them say that.

Gbetu beach is located in Awoyaya, Ibeju lekki. It's fun to be but underdeveloped.
