It's Katsina everyday (daily) market which operates with an aim of galvanizing trade in Katsina Metropolitan area. It has an average square kilometres with modern stalls/shops which enhanced the trading activities.
Before initiating this marketplace, the Central Market is situated around Gobarau/Gambarawa/Galadunchi/Unguwar Jaji and Sararin Tsako Area in the 1990's which was later demolished,moved to the present place.

There was tremendous upgrade and transformation of the city through infrastructures like the modern market. One could get WHATEVER one wants; no more necessary to have to travel to Kano to buy things. Intact, some are not even found in Kano, probably due to its closeness to border.

It houses the central motor park and boast of a number of commercial banks, restaurants, small food vendors and public toilet. Katsina central market is one of the biggest market in the state, located in the heart of the township.
Traders shade their wares in orderly manner, textile merchants, homewares, food items, clothes, footwears, cooking utensils and phone shops are among the businesses in the market. It is also worth to note that the market has tarred roads and good parking space for traders and customers alike. Highly recommended please.

I'm giving this place five stars based on the standard of markets in Katsina. It's the biggest market in Katsina State and everything can be found here, ranging from clothing, shoes, domestic utensils and everything you can imagine. So it's safe to say that you are covered here.

It's very good market that you can easily meet all your needs at affordable prices. Perhaps the new infrastructural buildings/blocks/shops are about to be completed soonest.
