Mareri Jumaat Mosque was commissioned by His Eminence, The Sultan of Sokoto, Alh. Sa'ad Abubakar III mni CFR on Friday 30th of May, 2008.
They do perform five daily prayer the Subhi, Azahar, Asr, Magrib and Ishai at the time recommended by the Islamic Group in Nigeria. They do also perform Jumaat Prayer on Friday at 2:15pm. The mosque also perform special prayer like Eid-Il-Fitr and Eid-Il-Kabir during Ramadan and Dul-Hijja.
Inside the mosque they also have arabic school named FIRST AID GROUP OF FITIYANUL ISLAM OF NIGERIA where islamic education is been give at different categories to male and female members of the society.
The mosque is also one of the mosque where Tahjud prayer is performed during Ramada period.
Finally, the mosque is very big and it provided accomodation for Muslim travellers who whish to pass a night in the mosque and those who leave their house to perform prayers off upto a month time.
