Carter Bridge is a link bridge linking ido to idumota, ijora olopa to idumota, it's busy in the morning entering into the island, more busy in the afternoon due to traffic and street sellers/hawkers.

Too much of traffic in that area because of the road to CMS that is blocked, you can only enter Lagos island through idumota

One of the numerous piece of civil engineering excellence, linking between the Lagos Island and the Lagos mainland in addition to the famous 3rd mainland bridge, adjudged to be the single longest bridge in Africa, and have stood the test of time for over 30 years.

Carter bridge is a life saver for now, ever since the eko bridge(the bridge linking mainland to island) has been blocked for repairs, Carter bridge has been an excellent substitute

Good Road Network from the Mainland of Lagos to the Island of Lagos. The bridge is one of the 4 routes apart from the 3rd mainland bridge to link the Island of Lagos State Nigeria. It has been well maintained for several years now. Was well constructed and designed to meet usage standards of Lagosians.

It's quiet busy most part of the day,with an array of wares displayed almost through the bridge,thos bridge leads to the famous "Idumota" in Lagos island.Just beware of pickpockets and phone snatchers.This is Lagos😉

At early hour there were no much traffic jam as us usual.

This is a bridge connecting the island and the mainland. It can be used as an alternative route to avoid congestion on eko bridge when going from Island to the mainland vice versa. There are some trailers packed on the bridge which may sometimes lead to traffic on the bridge. It is one of the oldest bridge in Lagos.

Nice clean but old bridge with a lot of traffic in the morning, sometimes at night too!. The bridge connects the mainland to Lagos island and also to the third mainland bridge.

Small but sturdy bridge. Linking people to and fro Lagos Island. It also gets you a vivid and better view of 3rd Mainland Brigde from afar. Always crowdy in the morning and evening.

Better route to ply now that agbongbo bridge is under going some repairs. The bridge can be quite congested due to tanker drivers parking on the bridge.

Link between the Lagos Island and Mainland. A lot crowded though but you can easily connect most part of the Lagos Mainland and Lagos Island through it.
