Great place of worship, First Baptist Church, Shogunle is a member of the Nigerian Baptist Convention and by association, a member of the Baptist World Alliance. Located in Shogunle, off the popular Agege motor road in Oshodi / Isolo local government area of Lagos state. This church auditorium seats about 500 members every Sunday and also conduct mid week service consisting bible study and prayer meeting every Wednesday. It has a nursery / primary school registered by the Lagos State Government for educational purposes. The aim of the church is to propagate the gospel of Jesus Christ worldwide according to the great commission.
This Church is currently being led by Reverend Moses Ayanyemi Adedokun assisted by the Deacons and Deaconess. There are important organs of the church like the Men Missionary Union (MMU), the Women Missionary Union(WMU), the Youth Organisation, the Children Department, the Teenage Church etc.
