Surprisingly there is FamilyMart in small town.
We took KTM intercity train form JB Sentral to here Gemas

Good variety of food and seating area. There was only one staff on duty but she was polite and steadily handled the cashier, prepping and serving of food.

recommended when transiting via Gemas train station, especially on the midnight train.

close to the station, decent selection, seating and tables available, and friendly service in my experience.

Japan made food product & Japanese style food available here. Cheesy corn dog is a must try. Frappe chocolate will surprise you.

I had my great stop on my long road trip! The staff so friendly and made me laugh. This could boost my energy to continue my long trip. Thank you staff family mart gemas!
