Lemon Tree Cafe Mains

First of all, this is not a stand alone eatery. It's a stall located in a cafeteria of the Islamic Bank (open to public).

The place is not overly crowded but that's cos I'm here at 9.30am. I imagine the staff who work in this huge building would have swarmed the cafeteria much earlier and likely to do so during lunch hour. So if you wanna drop by, word to the wise, avoid the peak meal periods. Unless you're into that sorta thing. Hey, I don't judge.

Now the food. Simple, back to basics but lovely. I had the Nasi Lemak biasa with Telur Mata (coconut rice, with chilli, and sunny side up egg). Oh and coffee. Where would I be without coffee.

Spent an approximate RM6 (or SGD1. 80) and am sitting here sipping my coffee feeling completely satisfied.

The staff are generally hospitable and are in no hurry to serve you (which means they are not crude and rushing you with your orders either). And that's a good thing. I like to enjoy my decision making process and this is perfect for a laid back getaway from the madness of city life.
