Their kaya puffs are really delicious and I personally rate them better than the famous bakery a few doors away. I also bought the durian cake for my dad and he loved it.

Humble lil bakery with a really sweet uncle owner. Their durian cake - sponge cake and durian cream w durian flesh. 10/10. Kaya puff was great too w a nice puff and even nicer kaya. It's the brown kind of kaya that tasted v homey. Vanilla muffin was good. Wish I could say the same for the pandan layer cake.

Best durian cake ever, much better than any of those bougee KL fellas will try to sell you at bloated prices. Support local, honest businesses because they keep it real 💯

Regret of not buying more. The durian cake is SUPERB!!!! It's a hidden gem in this small town. I can still taste the durian after hours eating it. The Yam Swiss Roll is great too. Not too sweet and with real yam in it.

Maco; one of my favourite bakeries of all time! Everything here is simply delicious. Their breads and cakes are not too sweet—perfect for anyone’s palate! Their goods are always fresh and the quality is top-notch. I would highly recommend this place! My favourites are their wedges buns and if it’s in season, durian cake. For a more nostalgic-Malaysian-feel that tracends you into childhood, you could opt for the pandan layer cake! The best I have ever tried.

Furthermore, the prices are inexpensive! Where else can I get a decent birthday cake for less than RM50? THIS PLACE IS LITERALLY THE BEST.

P.S. The young server who served me was quite cute UωU if you’re lucky you could catch him serving you too—quite rare to be very honest. But take your bet! Good luck! Hehe

Conclusion: I would, without a doubt, return my visit—for their goods and to catch the cute server again (if I am lucky enough).

I love this bakery. First of all, everything is so reasonably priced. Where in the world could you get a fully decorated cake for 60? Incredible. It’s a family owned bakery so each piece of bread has a touch of love baked into it.

I have tasted many things from this cosy little bakery.
First off, their wedges bun is so generously filled with wedges potatoes. Just imagine the wedges from KFC but sandwiched in a bun. Each piece of potato was fluffy and absolutely cooked to perfection. And drizzled in a healthy amount of cheese sauce to go with it.

Then, we have their customised chicken floss swiss roll. You might think at first that it wouldn’t go well with cake but you’re greatly mistaken. Maco makes the tastiest chicken floss swiss roll and they don’t even add that clear gunk that most other bakeries do to make it stick on. Perfect.

Their sausage bun is also a must try. Sausages are salty and meaty. Bread soft and pillowy. Perfect to go witch ketchup or even their delicious cheesey wedges from their wedges bun 😍

Lastly, their durian cake when it’s in season is so tasty. I think the family owns their own orchard or something because the fruit they use just tastes so good. Creamy, rich, decadent and an absolute treat when you eat it with the whipped cream.

You won’t regret coming to this little bakery when you come down to Kuala Kubu Bharu! 💖🍞

老闆用新鮮榴蓮來做的蛋糕!保存期限三天,十八令吉一條。香醇可口。在這裡也可以買到Kaya Puff,老地方傳統味道。

Kuala Kubu Bharu, is the district capital of Hulu Selangor District, Selangor, Malaysia. It is located 60 km north of Kuala Lumpur. In 1883, the Sungai Selangor dam broke, causing a massive flood.
