静思书轩（古晋店）Jing-Si Books and Cafe (Kuching)

This is honestly the best place in Kuching. The atmosphere is so calm and if you step through the door you will feel instantly how pressure relieves. It's a tea house, but to be honest they offer the best coffee we had in Malaysia. Also the people are so kind!

I think the place is owned by some Buddhism organization. They sell Buddhism and vegetarian related books and also herbal tea and other kind of healthy products. You can also order a vegan drink to relax there, reading books. I like the healthy taste of their drinks. The whole atmosphere is peaceful.

High quality tea, both hot and iced. Coffee is also offered, but tea appears to be the specialty. Very large and well-designed space. A few advice-oriented books (relating to Chinese/Taiwanese Buddhism) are on display. There is also a small area selling sundry items. (January 2020)

Only drinks serve here. Nice place to sit and meet. Seats are very comfortable. A very nice selection of books on philosophy and theology. Good place to get special gifts for special friends or spouse.

Quiet and peaceful juz kinda crowded during weekend

This place is great for people who wish to focus on their studies or looking for some inspiration. When entering the cafe, i feel calm and the atmosphere is tranquil. However, you can only order drinks so its not best who those who want to a meetup.

Lovely, quiet and peaceful place to sip some coffee, read a book or study. Loved coming here while in Kuching. The wifi was good so I was able to get some work done. Not a place to talk which was a plus for me. Nice and quiet.
