Awesome place for retreat. Had good time staying with my friends. Being vegetarian, the host prepared a good spread of vegetarian dishes, and most importantly it was delicious and they were generous with the portion. Everyone was very friendly. A must visit place, very serene with good energy around.

Let me break it down

1) FOOD
Its was tasty and the portions was big.They cooked tasty vegetarian food as well and the food was always ready before us.And yeah,its all organic food,planted at their own farm

2) CARETAKER
Most of the care takers were always available for us.They were very polite and always made sure we are OK & comfortable

3) PLACE TO GO AROUND
We have varieties of activities to do,such as hiking,canoeing,chilling with an amazing lake view and many more.

4) ENERGY OF THE PLACE
This place is definitely suitable for family outing,spiritual detox session,meditation,yoga and its suitable for anyone who just want at ‘disconnect’ and go ‘within’

A tranquil getaway amidst the green forest and farm animals. The vegetarian food was fresh and flavourful. The rooms were clean and tidy. Highly recommend if you love a simple stay with nature surroundings.

Firstly, the accusation of racism towards the lady owner couldn't be further from the truth. During my stay, I witnessed nothing but professionalism and kindness from the staff. The farmstay operates on a reservation basis to ensure the comfort and safety of all guests. The incident involving motorcyclists was not about race but rather about respecting the property's rules and the rights of existing guests. These individuals arrived unannounced, disturbing the peace with their loud bikes and disregarding parking regulations. It's understandable that they were asked to adhere to the property's policies.

Regarding the entry fee, it's important to recognize that Mantin Forest Art Farmstay is a privately-owned property, not a public space. As such, they have the right to enforce entry fees for non-guests who wish to enjoy the facilities. This policy ensures that paying guests can fully enjoy their experience without disturbance.

Additionally, the negative reviews seem to stem from a group of individuals who were upset about being denied access to certain amenities due to full occupancy. It's unfortunate that they chose to express their frustration through damaging reviews rather than understanding the situation. The farmstay staff handled the situation professionally and prioritized the comfort of their existing guests.

My advise on how to enjoy this Farmstay, please book a chalet in advance and judge for yourself.

Relaxing farmstay with some activities. Very suitable for family and friends gathering. Room clean and comfortable. Birds and animals to see and can feed them. Free cycling, free karaoke in the cafeteria area, free horse riding for those who stay in the farmstay.

Good places for family or leisure stay.This place have variety of facilities such as horse riding,karaoke,boat riding,mini farm visit good for kids.There have two types of room which is chalet room and timber room.Casual place for relax and company events.

We went to this Farmstay with 12 friends, we had fun there. Activities we had snooker, ride bicycle, swim, karaoke...
Dinner at 7pm and supper at 9pm..

Next day we went hiking and close contact with animals in the petting zoo. Luv it!

Lovely haven set up against the hills with all the chalets around the lake. Chalets were well furnished, clean and comfortable.
A veritable menagerie from horses, goats, monkeys and birds. The geese and swans are free ranging and inhabit the lake. The hill mynahs were entertaining with their human voice repertoire.
Activities from swimming, cycling, walking/hiking to horse rides are all inclusive. Patrons encouraged to feed kids(baby goats), monkeys and birds. Only extra is the feed for fish at RM2 a packet.
Had a great time here and would be good for groups and families.
Food wise, okay lah. Not a restaurant that will draw customers for meals only but acceptable fare for inhouse guests.

Had a great experience here! Beautiful setting, great facilities, comfortable accommodation and lots of fun activities available. There are many gorgeous birds and animals for feeding experiences. (The baby goat was an unexpected joy - especially cute and friendly.) But as a nature lover, the natural wildlife along the waterfront and hiking trails were the real gem!

Saw a range of wild birds: kingfishers, zebra doves, swifts and swallows, etc, even a stork. The highlight were the baya weaver birds right by the chalets, you could see them bringing leaves to weave their nests! A more experienced bird watcher will probably be able to catch more species.

Other wildlife included lizards and geckos, pill millipedes, orb weavers, various sizeable grasshoppers and butterflies (in the right season, atlas moths). For those who don't like creepy crawlies, they're off the path and would have gone unnoticed if we didn't pay attention!

The staff were brilliant, friendly and caring. They made sure there were veggie options even though we forgot to mention in our registration form. The food was great with good variety. From their interactions with the animals they also clearly understand and care for them individually. They showed us the best way to feed their animals and shared knowledge of local wildlife.

Room was spacious enough and comfortable with an attached bathroom. Food was provided here is so generous, free flow bread and drinks all day long. Dinner comprise fresh fishes was really good and tasty.
The service here by ladyboss and staff were quick, efficient and hospitable.

Nice and relaxing atmosphere for family gathering or company team building event. Plenty of fish and pets including deer, sheeps, parrot, even horses and pony. Good hospitality provided by Datin Alice and staffs.

Eco friendly retreats resort suitable for family gathering. The amenities facilities are fishing, cycling, canoeing, swimming pool, jungle tracking, karaoke, mini zoo, snooker, ping pong & etc. There are few type of accomodations, such as lake chalet, timber house & mansion. Few private karaoke rooms for booking in different charge. Overall facilties condition need to be improve, however is a good place for natural gateway. All activities and several meals are provided FOC in the package per pax.

Stay there for one day.. the owner was very pleasant.. food is good... it was nice stay with bird feeding experience.. but few things need to improve..we stay at A1...the room was clean and big but the bathroom smell quite unpleasant..few electrical appliances not working like air conditioning and water heater.. however owner instantly send someone to repair the heater.. and owner also gave us another room which is a1 as theaircond not functioning..also for room smell the owner gave us air spray which was very helpful... may be the owner need to improve the room conditions for example, have kettle and coffee and tea sachets in the room and eliminate room smell. Other than that everything was a great for us.. kids would definitely enjoy

Our working adult group came here for a day trip, from 9am to 5.30pm. It was a pretty decent package that consist of lunch and tea with coffee and other hot beverages and snacks being served throughout the day. The facilities here are top notch with clean bathrooms and overall cleanliness is definitely praiseworthy. There's also plenty to do here, from hiking to cycling, kayaking to playing indoor games. Or just laze around with a good book in your hand while enjoying nature at its best. Located far inside the forest and away from the closest civilization, there ample of fresh air to go around. The roads leading into this tucked away haven is very precarious (only 1 direction can be used at any given time), it does sort of prepare you for what's about to come. Would love to come back for the night stay. The living quarters look good, especially the one by the poolside. Definitely recommended in my books! Had a blast and look forward to the next adventure here.

I booked one night at this forest farmstay during Raya midweek as a quick family getaway. My family of four absolutely love this place.
The price is inclusive of meals and activities. Kids love the swimming pool, cycling, ping pong, kayaking, fishing, hiking, feeding the birds and riding the horses.
This place is in a rural kampung so dont expect great internet or good roads (although 4x4 isnt needed). My chalet room was spacious enough and comfortable with an attached bathroom, view was facing the nice pond. Food was provided such as tea, dinner, supper and breakfast. Dinner comprise chicken, fish, ladies finger, brinjal and rice and was quite tasty.
The service here by ladyboss and staff were quick, efficient and hospitable.
Tips: as this is next to the jungle, do bring mosquito repellent during hiking. Also, to get here i suggest waze as google map brought me there using a more offroad track.
Try avoiding school holidays to avoid crowds and a pricier room rate.
Overall, we had an enjoyable time and hope to come back again.

Wonderful place!
Nice staycation for me because accommodation, activities and 4 meals all inclusive in the package. So just go there to rest and relax. Near to the natural to recharges and destress.
My kid had a lot of 1st time experience like kayaking, fishing, hiking, horse riding, feeding all kind of animals, night natural walk n etc
Room are clean. staff are helpful. Food are nice too. Happy with everything.
In short, my family from 80 to 3 year old enjoy very much. We had a great family outing here!

Great place for a weekend to get a break from the city. Just 1+ hours ride from KL. Can easily spend 2 days one night chilling at the place.

Good for family outing with kids. Activities range from kayaking, animal petting as well as karaoke.
