GSC IOI City Mall 2 (East Wing)

The cinema seat is super comfortable and the sound system is fantastic. Not too cold in the cinema, overall it was a good experience coming here to watch a movie.

Very new and clean cinema.

Online ordering and QR scan at entrance was easy. Drinks ordering counters was easy to spot and staffs there very polite and helpful, give very good ordering recommendation and instruction for the soft drinks section.

Sound system was at it best even in smaller hall. Play+ was the best I guess in the country compared to other cinemas.

Just the parking need to be exact below it new wing else walking from one end to the other waste you at least 30 minutes, as this the second largest mall in the world !🌎

Very comfortable, spacious legroom, new and clean. Came for a movie early in the morning so basically no crowd at that time.

This 1 at gsc premiere..there are area for waiting with cozy sofa. The sitting in hall also big but limited. You also can have free flow pop corn and soft drink too.

Tried the premier class here and it worth for money. It comes with free flow of soft drink and popcorn. I also served with nugget and muffin. The chair is declining so can really enjoy when watching movie. Of course no blanket provided. Sound system great too.

IMAX HALL, enjoyed Oppenheimer, deepest black and brightest white, the contrast just amazing.
The seat is wide, long leg room for tall person like me 173cm.
The screen may not be as large and wide as the some TGV IMAX and GSC MAXX. Hall with 230 seats with just perfect IMAX aspects ratios screen.

GSC IOI City Mall offers a delightful cinematic experience with its comfortable seating, crisp audio, and a wide range of movie selections. The mall's convenient location and ample parking make it easily accessible. However, occasional overcrowding during peak hours can detract from the overall enjoyment. Overall, it's a great destination for moviegoers seeking entertainment in Putrajaya.

The playpark movie was super duper brilliant.. Whoever came up with the idea is a genius. Kids loved it, i loved it. The only annoying issue is the movie only lasted 2 hours. We could stay there the whole day!!!

The play plus really made the kids excited. They can play inside the hall while watching movies. Come early so the kids could play at the play park before the movie starts.

Touted as having the first laser projected IMAX theatre in Malaysia, the GSC cineplex here is pretty good. There is so much more happening outside of the movie theatre than inside and it makes movie going more of an experience than just simply going to watch a movie.

Prices are also steadily rising since the pandemic, as operators are now trying to recover.

This particular GSC has received some bad reviews about cleanliness and staff attitudes, but during my recent visit, I found things to be quite good. I can't say whether it's the same during weekends when there are large crowds.

One thing I must say though. The ticket machines seemed a bit slow, as response time seemed a bit laggy. I was alone buying tickets at that time, so it definitely wasn't the server being too busy.

Apart from this little issue, everything else about my experience here was good. The IMAX cinema had good sized seats and food here was pretty good as well.

Since the opening until now(Oppenheimer Re-Run), the Sound & Picture quality is just Toppppp Gilerrr!!!!😍😍😍😍😍😍 Amazing shattering Bass and Perfectoh Volume🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

as a person who tried out most of the IMAX halls in Malaysia, the laser projector is noticeably better in colour and quality. But this is probably the smallest IMAX hall in Malaysia. But it won’t bothers me tho. Compared to TGV IMAX, Laser projectors are way better than Xenon projectors.Overall TGV wins in size, GSC wins in comfortability (love their big legroom) and Projector quality. From now on this hall will probably be my go-to hall. [TGV Sunway Velocity needs a Laser Projector Upgrade!!!!]

The new IMAX with laser makes everything super immersive and even the sound in this hall is exceptional, a two notch above the regular IMAX theatres in KL. Am not a big fan of Soap Opera effect but saw Avatar2 in 3D - High Frame Rate format here and was blown away by the visuals it generated. A dream come true for any theatre enthusiasts and whoever loves the latest in projection and audio tech. You will appreciate the surround sound more in calm scenes as much as in the action ones. Kudos to the GSC team, this is my 2nd best fav next to Onyx in MV megamall. Just a request - pls don't turn on the high beam lights while audience are still watching the end credits, it kinda spoils the experience in the end and it's not the right thing to do as well to suddenly flood the dark hall with lights, hurts the eyes.

This GSC location have mass advertising of the upcoming Spider-man Across The Spider-verse that will be released on 1st June 2023, do come and have a seat with their new featured Play+ or IMAX hall ! They have very friendly staffs, cozy surroundings and lot delicacies meals from Happy Food Co too ! I'm superb excited since I'm the one who love and enjoy graphic drawings. 🥳💕

Very big screen, sharper image compared to normal cinemas even 4DX. The audio is earth shaking loud too so prepare yourself. Truly worth it to watch good movies. I've watched John Wick 4 here & damn it was a blast. I knew the movie gonna looks amazing that's why i chose this cinema.

Much updated cinema hall. The movies playing in here designed for younger audience. Has the most comfortable seats and quite dark enough to enjoy watching the show there.

The best alternative megamall away from KL city centre. You can get almost everything from here; foods and drinks; entertainments, sports; fast fashions; boutiques; groceries, pharmacies, and many more for all categories of lifestyles. Even an indoor ice-rink. Not for high streett brands hunters.

Best cinema in Malaysia. Seats are comfy and big. Good leg space. Best of all its a laser projection cinema. Screen is big.

Very big mall. And lots of good restaurants on the ground floor. Went to GSC Imax. Fantastic experience.
