Cardiothoracic and Cardiology Centre, Serdang Hospital

I brought my father for follow up at Hospital Serdang. He just had his ICD. Now the latest cardio clinic appointment time is staggered at 8 am, 10 am and 2 pm. You are only allowed to register 1 hour prior to your appointment time. My dad appointment was at 10 am, queue about 1 hour to register at 9 am. Less than half an hour, my dad was called to check on his ICD. Then wait again until 12.30 pm only able to see the doctor. So total time spent for follow up about 5 hours (8am-1pm). I think the staggered time is a good initiative to help reduce the crowd and waiting time. The downside is not enough parking. Parking is full even at the new multilevel carpark. It has a connecting bridge direct into the building. Overall experience was quite pleasant.

Had been bringing my dad for follow up at Hospital Serdang for the past year. The process is quite systematic.

For those who have heart failure with ICD/pacemaker. You will have separate ICD and heart failure clinic appointment on different dates.

First, you will take number to register at the registration counter at ground floor
Then, go 1st floor for ICD and heart failure clinic.
There’s 3 separate departments at the first floor- ICD, heart failure and cardiothoracic.

For heart failure clinic, there’s a room of pharmacists to educate patients regarding their condition and medications. I feel this will empower them to be health conscious and improve their compliance to medication, follow up and lifestyle modifications. Keep up the good work. Thumbs up for all the healthcare workers 💐❤

New building new facilities, Friday is empty. Good service.

The members of the hospital is really very good.they really helped the oku patients. Their service is really excellent 👍👍👍👍👍

A good public health service.
Arrived at around 7am++ for 8am appmnt.
Waiting time for registration & consultation are acceptable given the number of patients.
Manage to get a decent parking space.
The parking bertingkat now operational.
Staff and Dr attending were giving their best. Hat off!

The centre is new and every facility here is in good condition. Multistorey parking is connected directly with the centre. Waiting time is expected but it's actually acceptable since it serves all rakyat regardless of race, religion and economic background. Thank you to all doctors, pharmacists, MAs, nurses and other staff for your service.

Brought my husband for his 1st appointment there. Actually not bad. We reach there at 7am and queued to register. After registering we went up to level 2 for his CTS Clinic appt. We were done by 10.45am.

Friendly security guard …

Be ready to wait for 5 hours to 8 hours until your number is called. Appointment on 10 am, still waiting by 5pm.

Seriously, what is happening?

New building new facilities..one building dedicated for parking..but need to come super early before appnt..bcos its going to be fulled in few minutes.alternate parking along the road..need to walk up..arrived 7.50am..queue for numbers.5 counters altogether.but only 3 counters open..waited to be served more than 1 hr..its only for registration!!..not yet for doc appointment (@9am)

Parking is very limited, fully occupied not even 8am.. should build a bigger parking.

Nurses and the assistance are helpful and efficient, however would suggest the doctor to come early as well as mostly registered but hv to wait for doctor to come in.
