Hospital Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah, UPM

I had an exceptional experience at the Pediatric Specialist Clinic in Hospital UPM. The doctors and staff were caring, knowledgeable, and attentive to my child's needs. The clinic was well-equipped and maintained a welcoming environment. I highly recommend this clinic for their professionalism and dedication to children's healthcare.

The ease of finding parking and having covered facilities made the visit convenient.

Since the hospital is relatively new, the place, facilities, furnitures etc are still looking new and clean. Less crowded here compared to other govt/semi-government hospitals. Parking space is not a problem here. There is also cafe and mini mart, or you can also order food delivery and pick up at the main lobby. They have 24hrs emergency room and their specialty is stroke treatment. The service from the doctors and staff is top notch. There are also other specialists here. Bear in mind though, that this is a teaching hospital, so be prepared to experience being asked the same questions by 4-5 different student doctors, one after another.

I've been here for a few visits since mid 2021. It's a relatively new hospital and less crowded compared to the neighbouring hospital Serdang.

In terms of facilities, I would say it has almost all basic necessities. The surau is spacious, parking has many slots, a small kindergarten for the kiddos, clean toilets with double door entry, cafeteria, atm machine and an eatery.

They also provide buggy services for those who need assistance since the distance could be quite challenging for instance from the registration unit to the daycare ward.

Each clinic has it's own lcd screen, full with information and videos on health issues except the ones at pharmacy. It always been either Upin & Ipin or Tom&Jerry 😉

Several vending machines too at each floor. And a few mobile charging stations for you to use.

Many thanks to Paediatrics unit for taking care of my son especially to Dr Muhd Nurfirdaus Musa if I’m not mistaken, I think he is a very good Dr. I’m confident that my son is in safe hands. Not to forget their nurses, very efficient and experienced.

I feel reassured with his explanation, very precise, well explained and evidence based. (Already met so many Drs and I can tell which Dr is knowledgeable or not) I wasn’t sure if he is a specialist or not but hopefully he is. Our country need more Dr like him.

No wonder my MIL told me that Paediatric unit at HPUPM is the best in Malaysia. No doubt.

Wife admitted to HPUPM under orthopaedic specialist Dr Hazery, Dr Abbas & Dr Khairil Anwar, for PID aka slipped disc. Good experience from emergency dept visit at 3am in morning till discharge after many days of hospitalizations. New hospital, spacious ward, less crowded, can use GL if govt servant, equipped with a new MRI machine which is very nice (better than some private hospitals in klang valley tbh). Thank you & keep up the good work!

Ample parking spots and a very clean, well-managed hospital. The location may be tricky to locate but you can easily use Google Maps to guide your journey. Security guards and nurses are polite and professional, and they would not hesitate to help you should you have any inquiries. The doctor was efficient and courteous.

Stroke and rehab centre of excellence. They also have a Family Medicine Clinic and other general speciality to cater for the locals and compliment neighbour Hospital Serdang

Also know as PPUPM. Waiting time might be long.. prepare ur self with some light food.

1st time admitted to Malaysia hospital. Currently at transition (special) ward. 4 beds in a ward. Very cold. Wearing Jacket and socks not enough to keep me warm.

3rd time being here. 2 times went thru the emergency dept. Am lucky as when i reached the emergency dept, the queue was relatively short. Hence, my waiting time about 30 mins to an hour (one hour as there were other emergency cases the healthcare personnel needed to attend to immediately). The staffs were very friendly, from the receptionist to the MA whom i met for vital signs and clerking. Thumbs up for the friendly services. And not to forget the friendly staffs of the O&G dept - the nurses and doctors. The doctors (one of them was Dr Charmaine) were friendly and they did explain everything clearly to me. From what i heard of, this is still a relatively new hospital; hopefully everything will keep cool till my next pregnancy 🫶🏻

All the staff here are very friendly and helpful. Doctors and nurses are very pleasant, patient and informative. My dad loves this hospital so much! It was a great experience for him compared with other hospitals that he'd been. He'd rather travel 1 hour to come here for regular treatment than visiting a hospital nearby. Highly recommended.

Was seen by Dr Firdaus from Neuro dept. appreciate his attentiveness and empathy, great advices as well. He also prayed that my migraine recovery journey will be eased. Give him a raise ✊🏻✊🏻✊🏻

Specialist hospital especially for stroke patient. Fast and efficient medical services.

I've never been to a local hospital that is so efficient, friendly and responsible. I was admitted to Urology for a very complicated surgery and it almost cost my life. I can't say enough to thank the responsible and knowledgeable specialists in urology and in ICU. The nurses are my so motivating and supportive when I was about to give up. The guards here are a bit annoying and strict on the sop but they are really doing a great job. I am on a wheelchair and the facilities here are very disabled friendly.

I am very happy with the doctors n staffs at Hosp Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah n they are helpful courteous n very helpful with people with disabilities (OKU)very grateful with doctors/staffs at Bhg Neuro (Tqsm)

Thank you to Dr Nabila and the team who took care of my son until he recovered.

My mom was send to UPM due to waze brought us here, and I immediate admitted my mom to emergency as she was hard to breath. The nurses and doctor on call were so helpful in treating my mom even knowing that my mom is a covid patient. Also I was in financial difficulties and unable to pay such high bill, the nurses and doctor took the offer to help me asked their bosses see whether the Government can helps to pay. Thankfully they managed to ask and ease my burden by saying my mom's bills all are free of charged and paid by Government as she is a covid patient. And thruout few days my mom was staying in covid ward, the nurses and doctors took good care of my mom and ensure she recovered fast without needed of oxygen tank as my mom was a stage 4 covid patient. Until the day I discharged my mom, knowing the nurses were so busy, tired and sweat, they non stop assisting me whenever I need them. Truly I felt so blessed and thankful to have them. Kudos for their hardwork. Thanks a million to frontliners of UPM. Your hardwork will be greatly remembered and appreciated.
