We just love this place! All the foods that we’ve ordered are full with flavour and mouth watering. I wanted to try their ubi kayu but it’s unavailable. We just fell in love with their “Pek Nga” but please bare in mind you’ll have a hard time finding seating spot as most of the time this restaurant is full with people.

If you're in Kedah, definitely need to try their pek nga. Personally I prefer the pek nga kelapa because it's less sweet compared to the banana one. But, I would definitely repeat for their curry ikan kembung seekor (i heard kedahan called it Ikan Temenong ). They also serve nasi lemak and pulut.

First time in Warung Klasik and YOU have to go! It’s the cutest little spot with amazing local breakfast. The crust of peknga nyiur was crisp, flavorful, and chewy. A lot of banana for peknga pisang. Please come early 7:00 am. When we arrived at 7:30am, it’s already packed!!

Friendly home based breakfast spot. Crowded so expect a short wait for a table. Ample amount of seats n tables. Friendly neighborhood people. Staff are polite and accomodating. Food is very reasonable. Nasi lemak was amazing with the sambal ikan bilis n kacang fried together. Tried the pek nga comes in banana or coconut. Must try when in town.

The best peknga (coconut pancake) we ever tasted. Served piping hot with gulai ikan temenung (mackerel curry). Soft texture with crispy ends. Peknga pisang (banana coconut pancake) soft, sweet and warm. Worth coming back for.

Looking for good Northern malay traditional breakfast? This is the answer. Always crowded. So either come early or practice patience while waiting for a free table. May be more difficult if you come in a big group.

Fav place for breakfast with family. Almost every weekend go there. Service quickly, delicious foods & invorement so calm & clean. Very love it❤👍❤👍

They serve 'Peknga Kelapa & Peknga Pisang' with curry. You can have nasi lemak with variety of dish & vegetables. They have nice decoration hand made wood art. You can enjoy the Malay artistic work here embedded in they building. Have a nice breakfast.

Excellent place to try breakfast food of yesteryears. Coconut "pek nga" i e. Malaysia crepe with kari ikan temenung ( kembong@ pralin) is authentic in taste and form. One can also find other local favourites such as "ubi kayu rebus nyoq", pulut ikan kering and of course regular nasi lemak and mee hoon.

Where memories meet now...you can get a really classic dish from the old time food

1. Serving local 'roti peknga' and 'gulai ikan temenong', which you can get in the northern states.
2. Also available other food like rice and'ubi rebus'.
3. Opens from 7am till 12 pm except Wednesday.
4. Most of the time you have to wait a while for your table.

Pek nga cuisine (both banana n coconut types) are very delicious.
The fried chicken are also good.
The teh tarik cup is excellent as well.
My wife n daughter like theirs too.

Awesome! Top notch northern-style short-bodied mackerel curry, to go with traditional coconut shavings-pancake (lempeng or locally known as peknga).

Very courteous staffs too. Shouldnt miss this joint if you're in town

The fish is fresh and the curry is just nice for peknga. The only thing they must learn to bake peknga not to be too oily and burnt. Give quality not quantity.

Always one of my fav breakfast place. It's usually crowded in weekend so gotta wake up early to breakfast as it's quite far from my house. It's self-service which you can either have nasi lemak, nasi berlauk or peknga nyior and pisang or you can have both like I did hehe. Peknga nyior is my fav! So go ahead and try! I've been there way before they are famous and the food now and back then is still 💯 so don't hesitate give it a try okie. Don't have high expectation, it's the best as to my taste which might not cater to you so keep it in mind okie and have a good day✨
