Aloq Staq Bamboo Garden Halal Chinese and Thai Restaurant

I am dropping Alor Setar for the first time and ate my first meal here. The best and the best. The best thai food I have ever ate. Their own tomyam soup is the best and the we enjoyed. Staffs are friendly and this place is so relaxing ❤. If you are to Alor Setar this place is a must to visit.

Owner dropped by to each table and greet the customer. Great recommendation on the dishes we had from the waitress as well.Very friendly. Food came fast.

To go to this eatery, you have to know the route quite well. Despite it is located next to the main road yet to take a turn from it, it's a bit challenging. There's another route which leads you to the main gate of Masjid Zahir, that's the easiest route for you to go to this wonderful restaurant. It's a bit pricey but it's worth the money and the waiting. The staffs are super friendly and helpful too in assisting us with the choices of dishes there

I must say that the foods here are all very delicious and the portions are very generous. This restaurant is definitely a must-try place for all races/religions (it's halal). We had 2 sets of tomyam seafood, padpet ayam, butter milk prawn, broccoli mix mushroom, siakap 3 rasa, 1 jar of orange and apple each, and rice (3 rounds of rice!). Overall, it costs us around RM 40+ per person (6 of us). Thumbs up for this restaurant.

Good place to eat with your family. The fish is very tasty. Prawn and squid are also good. Price is quite reasonable. There are dedicated space for car park.

The food was awesome. We’ve try kangkung goreng, ikan lap pad tao,tomyam and salted egg squid. The staff also very friendly and they suggest to try sagu yad sai ( thai desert) but the taste so so

None of their dishes served is not good. Honestly from my point of view as the picky eater - here is one of THE BEST Thai & Chinese food served that up to my expectation.

One of the best halal chinese meal I ever had. Fast service. Staff very friendly. Had a lot of dishes for solo meal but worth it. Hot Chinese tea is excellent drink for the meal.

Very good food and reasonable price

Called to a friendly voice informing us it was open. Orders were promptly taken and we were treated to the dishes soon enough. The dishes don't come together, so each dish arrived piping hot. Seafood is fresh and well seasoned and cooked. Flavourful dishes and a place to definitely come back to. Excellent service too.

I've been here so many time. And even booked this place for my whole family about 25 pax. The food and service is always good. And also the owner both of them are friendly.

Memang tersangat sedap, the most delicious and authentic thai dishes I've found in Alor Setar.
