Rose House Dabong

Pok Din (the owner of the homestay) is a very warmed person. He help us out to get us ‘Pengasuh’ (local tour guide and transporter)- Pok Di, places that we should visit while we are in Dabong till we departed from Dabong with Train again. Making our Dabong experience to be unforgettable.

Its really nice place to stay. The room is clean. We had a warm welcome from Pak Din the homestay owner. Such a nice person. Assist us nicely. Overall, foresure we will stay here again when we came to Dabong again. A very nice place with a very nice environment.

Abe din and rose are sweethearts. Amazing hosts and lovely hotel they run. They really helped us out when we need a place and even showed us the amazing cave system in dabong

Comfortable beds & rooms (except cold shower). Kettle & tea/coffee facilities in room. Very helpful host. Close to train station. Small number of restaurants in town. Trip out to caves, river & waterfall can be arranged. Small, quiet but very pleasant town for a couple of days stay

The place is lovely and Clean. The host is very friendly. We enjoyed your staying during passing through the little town. If you come over Gunung stong for hiking, I highly recommend it.

Great place for a couple of nights. Clean. Well appointed and all the modern facilities except no hot water in the shower. Friendly host. Furnishing but garish for my taste but to each their own. Website pictures are true

The owner met us at the train station and took us to his house. His lovely wife met us with a cup of tea and some toast. They are a very lovely family and hosts!
I wasn't interested in caves, but by husband was, so the owner took my husband on a basically private tour to some caves, which was so kind of him! We enjoyed our stay there and would recommend it to anyone who is visiting Dabong and Jelawang waterfall.

Superb host, Abe Din is the best. Stayed there 1 night, no booking they happen to have a room due to weekdays. Abe Din took the trouble to guide me to Gua Ikan and Stong Waterfall view.

There is a small food outlet very near the place, that will prepare meals ala carte.

Overall a very pleasant stay.

Very nice accomodation with kind owners. You can not go wrong to stay here. Very good price/quality. The owner even offered us a laundry service free of charge and invited us for a drink several times. He helped us also with our travel plans and transportation. Highly recommended!

Fantastic place. From the moment you step off the train and MR Din greets you by name, the welcome with cup of tea n toast then when you are ready your room already has the air conditioner on.
Nothing is too much trouble for the hosts.
Recommend that you break the train journey here to relax and if it is Saturday enjoy the late afternoon market.

Very cozy room with all the amenities, the location is very near to the train station. Abg Din the owner is very friendly and kind. Will stay here again next time.

Abe Din was such an amazing host. He was always bringing is delicious cakes and foods from the local neighborhood scene. His wife makes the best banana bread!

Abe Din was every welcoming (he offered us tea toast and cake) and helpful, the place is very clean and confortable. we arrived in the afternoon and after seeing we didn't have any solutions to go se the beautiful and massive waterfall (10 km) he proposed to take us free of charge. Very kind, as he even took us to the amazing and equally massive cave nearby (3km). Rose is a must in Dabong. The environment nature nearby is enchanting. Thank you very much.

I love the friendly couple who run this joint, Abey Din & Madam Rossiah. Highly recommended place to stay should you be coming to Dabong. It's clean, well-kept and organized.

Cozy place to stay. Mosque, grocery shop and restaurant are all within walking distance. And the owner is friendly too
