Likas Sport Complex Swimming Pool

Amazing pool! Trained here for a year plus to get my advanced cert from Kinabalu Swim Academy. You can google and get the contact no of Coach Tim. He is THE BEST! Super nice and super patient coach.

In terms of the pool experience , I could say everything is good.

The frontdesk service is good also. The staff are very articulate and polite.

For anyone who are interested to take a swim in here publicly , here are things you need to prepare ;

1.Swimshorts and bodyglove wear for men and Swimwear and bodyglove wear for woman only are allowed.

2. The entrance fees need to be paid at the front entrance of the Likas Sports Complex. Each per person entering is RM5.

3. For now until April , 8 am till 4 pm are reserved for the upcoming sports event for the atheles. So your room to enter the pool are only at 4 pm onwards. Limited to 15 person per pool quota. First come , first serve.

4. The bathroom and locker facility are provided. But , my recommendation , do bring your own towels and a pairs of fresh clothes to change after the swim.

5. They also provide 2 types of pool. The 2 meters deep and the 1.4 meters deep. Kids are allowed to take a swim granted that parental supervision are present at the site. see

The entrance fee is very cheap,RM5 only per adult,there are 2 pools,the shallow one looks a little dirty though,but the other one is excellent.My tips,don't come on weekend,because there would be a lot of people,If you really need to,come early before 4pm.

It's a clean and pretty well maintained 50m length pool. Entrance fee is only 5RM.
For foreigners: Enter through the Sports Complex main entrance and buy your tickets inside, the counter is on the left side in the hall. Staff at the counter speaks English. They can direct you to the pool. Dressing rooms are basic and not too well maintained, but sufficient. Please note that appropriate swimwear for women is mandatory. This means wearing either a swimsuit, or a shirt over a modest bikini.

Covered Olympic sized swimming pool as well as intermediate and for beginners. Diving boards situated just next main arena. A canteen right by the entrance. Lovely place to be.

The water was cool, it was peaceful n quiet, clean n so relaxing. Perfect. Even d service was friendly n very informative. Worth visiting

They prepared swimming suit for rent, rm5 per piece with rm 10 deposite. There 2 pool outdoor, the shallow one. 2 pool indoor, deeper one.

Peaceful jogging area provides a very attractive and eye -cooling view giving solace to anyone who visits

Is the place observe the professional training and learn swimming for myself, very special place and very good service
