Food tastes good but takes a really long time to be served although we have made the reservation the day before.

Make reservations instead of walk in as the restaurant are usually full else you will be sure be disappointed.

Recommend dishes are dong po pork, salted egg prawn. Ostrich meat dish is also really good.

This place has delicious and reasonable Chinese food here. Love the chicken and crispy skin, love the lamb and fat, I love the delicious & fresh prawns and sweet sauce, nice rice and delicious hot Chinese tea it’s just right. Nice air con, comfortable sitting, nice atmosphere and great service and friendly staff thanks guys. Hopefully to try more and different food next time. Recommended here.

Had lunch with 3 friends here today.

As it is comfortably air-conditioned and serving reasonable and yummy Chinese (non-halal) food, it is a good place for lunch on a scorching hot afternoon around Sinsuran area.

Very good Hakka restaurant. Very authentic and original.

What my mum loves is what goes for us. She misses restaurants of this kind with the ambience n food, where it brings back 'good' memories of the past for her. We had a lot of experiences with this restaurant in the past n they had never let us down. Most important, my mum loves a few dishes here n they have it.

It is first time for me to having dinner during chinese new year at this restaurant at the year of 2023. First of all this review is all about my own personal opinion.i will compare to some restaurant around kk area, from kepayan to luyang and penampang. This restaurant menu is an old school cooking , but its very delicious. was having i believe is the chinese new year package, we have the lou sang for 1st dish..honestly speaking the raw salmon is not fresh at all. 2nd we have the lamb very delicious juicy and tender lamb meat. 3rd we having grill chicken the meat very tender and crispy on the skin.4th dish we have the steam fish very fresh the fish and very huge portion. 5th dish we are having smoke duck fried some mix vege the smoke duck is very delicious too i cant stop eating the smoke duck loving it. 6th dish is the dry butter prawn very fresh and delicious too. 7th dish is the mushroom Broccoli dry oyster and some fatt choi... this one normal dish taste la and there's another claypot rice with dry preserve meat.. tasty too....Overall 5 star to this happy ending of the dinner session for 3rd day of chinese new year...will looking for another dinner at this restaurant.....kudos for the chef and waiters.. they have been working real hard.... keep up the good hospitality services...I am looking forward for another dining at your restaurant soon

Cantonese restaurant. This place has kept its standards up for over a decade. The food here is simple but good, and served at a good price. Expect to find classic Cantonese fare here. No fancy decorations or 'modern' fusion styles, but great food nonetheless. Do try to call in advance though, as seats and tables are very limited and they do have the tendency to be full.

I really enjoyed this place. The staff were kind and the food well prepared. the uncle gave some excellent recommendations including fish maw soup, steamed pork and a veggie plate. all-in 68myr was a fair price for a couple full bellies. More than all I really felt amongst earnest folks doing their best. 5 stars for that

Food is prepared with palate perfection. Each dish, even the simple ones, marries beautiful blend of recipes and cooking techniques that put other Chinese cuisine restaurants to shame.

For example, the venison meat cut in Physics calculations perfection and simmered in caramelized sauce and the result? Magical melting food moment.

They also put a benchmark highs in the standard of plain ol' fried noodles... Be prepared to get high with every bite coz between the food and the Hong Kong chinese eatery interior reminiscent, you'll be wanting if not craving for more on their menu.

Also this place is perfect and safe for those playing tour guide to visiting fussy relatives or aunties. They'll be leaving with their tummy (and hearts) full, and your purse will also thank you happily.

LOCAL variety of hakka food! Nice taste.. Established more than 35 years... Always full house during festive seasons, advance booking a must. Air con restaurant. Recommend car pool if you opt to go.

Cantonese old style restaurant, the environment is nice and clean, and the food is great. Remember to make a reservation first if you are going there.

My favourite Chinese cuisine restaurant. Most of the local will always have their family gathering here. Please do reservation because usually there are full house. Highly recommended.

Nice Chinese Haka dishes

Ostrich is amazing. We have always had amazing meals here. Easily the best Chinese food in KK. Reasonable prices and nice decor as well.

An authentic restaurant with old fashion design for local chinese cuisine. Good food at affordable price. Its a place where most of the local chinese will have their family meals.

This restaurant mainly serve Chinese based cuisine at a reasonable price. Kota Kinabalu residents from all walks of life have dined in this restaurent.

It's great to have a meal at this restaurant before their crews go for retirement after Chap Gor Mei.
